We are new to the area and chose Hyde based on a single recommendation. Could not have been more pleased with the service. Making the appointment for a check up was easy, they sent an email reminder a couple of days before, and I got a call when the service tech was on his way. Upon arrival he thoroughly explained what he would be doing. After he checked our units he offered a complete run down of possible issues he found, options for addressing them, and costs of each option. He then completed repairs and changed filters. The cost of repairs was actually less than we were quoted. We definitely chose the right HVAC company and will be sticking with them in the future.

I installed two new Run Capacitors for 1997 Guest Bedrooms area of the house and tested the system.
Installed a 3 Ton Silver 14 Horizontal Condenser and Evaporator Coil that serves the master bedroom. Was not able to drop unit to the ground do to PVC being to high up. Added a Goliath with safety switch
I Performed Maintenance on 3 Cooling Systems. Also replaced two 20x25 and 14x25 filters and flushed condensate drains. All 3 Systems are 2019 2005 and 1997 models located on the ground. I found that the 1997 Model unit Condenser Fan Motor Run Capacitor is rated for 7.5 and I am reading 2.2 I also found that Run Capacitor for the Compressor tested weak and out of range. My recommendation would be to replace both Run Capacitors to keep System operating as it should, especially the Fan Capacitor. Will email estimate to replace both parts. Everything else checked out operational at the time of service.
Returned to replace zone board.

I Performed Maintenance on both of the Cooling Systems. Also replaced a 20x30 16x30 and 14x14 Filters. Both Cooling Systems are 2000 models located on the ground. Furnaces are located in separate attics. I found that the 3 Ton System for the Bedroom is slightly low on R-22 Freon. I advised homeowner that R-22 Freon is going to be no longer available come January 2020. I recommended replacing both systems due to age and wear and tear. Living Room System is a 5 Ton. Client not sure if he is going to sell the house or not. Client keeps thermostats at 82 Degrees and both systems are cooling at this time.

Comfort ac service on two 2013 American standard split systems. Fau located inside the garage attic(doesn't look fun inside the attic). Checked all ac components, freon levels, volts, amps, capacitors and temperature split. Washed coils, replaced filters and cleared lines. Found kitchen area fan capacitor outside its range. Repalced capacitor and tested. Client keeps living area system off. Thermostat is behind big clock. Filters are located inside hallway non filter return grill.

Upon arrival found back bedroom/casita unit not working. Found blower motor running but outdoor unit not. Checked capacitors and found still working. Found fan motor overheated. Cooled down condenser fan motor. Cycled unit and found fan motor trying to turn. Stuck screwdriver inside unit and manually spun fan blade. Fan motor kicked on. Checked fan motor amps and found unit running over max amps. Advised on issue and that the fan motor is running over max amps. Also see oil around fan motor. Advised on bad fan motor and needs to be replaced. Unit is currently working but can fail at any time. Client is going to see if motor is under warrenty. Gave estimates on repair with maintance agreement and without. Left message with clients sister stating we do not have a email address to send over estimates and to give us a call back.
