Thor is patient, efficient and a problem solver.
Cooling service on American Standard split system and Lennox split system. Furnaces are located in garage. Changed it out 16 x 25 filters located within filter racks. Condensation line was cleared at FAU. Cleared all electrical components of dust and debris, verified proper sequence of operation, checked volts, and amps, checked capacitors. Verified refrigerant levels and took temperature splits and cycle equipment. Found a system serial number 3095 with starting amps exceeding specifications as well as 45/5 MFD capacitor, Weak and found starting for system serial number 1K5F @Max specifications. Recommend replacing 45/5 Mfd capacitor to prevent any future breakdowns and install installing compressor saver kit for both systems to prevent any further damage to compressor and internal windings, assist compressor at startup in prologue life of compressor. Lucinda estimates. Thermostat checked out ok. Systems are cooling and operating at this time of service.
5/28 installed and tested thermostat, connected to WiFi, thermostat is working properly. System is cooling properly. Homeowners had to remake account password so they’ll be getting it connected to app.
Arrived at customer’s home to complete a panel upgrade from 125 amps to 200 amps. Removed old main service panel feeding home and installed a new 200 amp solar ready Eaton panel. Today’s annual cooling preventative maintenance consisted of one Goodman unit at first begin with replacing the 16 x 25 filter in the hallway closet of flow system to ensure that proper airflow is able to circulate back to the system of minimal resistance. And then ensure that the thermostat is properly calling for cooling and turning the unit on with no errors. All of the cooling sequence of operations are successfully checking out, verifying that there is a proper 20° split to cool the home efficiently to the desire temperature. The amps in the system are safely checking out in the correct range following with the capacitor also testing how safely for its rated amount. The condensation line is officially draining at this time of service ensuring that there’s no blockage or obstructions to the line. After Diagnostic found condenser last 4 5513 had a tripped breaker reset breaker unit is up and cooling checked capacitor is out of range advised client for maintenance and sent estimate for maintenance and capacitor
Per client power went out last night for home. Husband reset power and turned ac unit off. Turned ac on on arrival and equipment started running. Checked all high voltage connections from breaker to outdoor unit. Found loose lugs on breaker tighten 1.5 turns on each breaker and disconnect also has loose high voltage connections. Verified Amps in high stage are 8-9 which is good. Advised breaker panel in poor condition and would recommend replacing breaker panel. If problem continues suggest having electrician department check breaker panel.

My first began with replacing the 20 x 30 filter in the home to ensure that proper airflow is able to circulate back to the system minimal resistance. And then verified that the thermostat is properly calling for cooling and turning the unit on with no errors. All of the cooling sequence of operations are successfully checking out verifying that there is a proper 20° split between the liquid line and the suction line which verifies at the home is being called efficiently to the desire temperature. The disconnect box was stuck, and I had to turn off the AC unit from the breaker source so that I could successfully test out the capacitors and verify that they are testing out in the correct range ensuring a controlled voltage is being used safely for the rated amount of each capacitor as well. Performed a cooling maintenance on a package unit located on rooftop. Trix sequence of operations by performing a temperature split as well as checking electrical. At this time system is cooling down the area properly. System is a R 22 and it is running hard but still cooling good. Finish maintenance by washing down package unit and changing out filter located inside package unit.
