Performed a cooling maintenance on two split systems. Washed outdoor units and replace capacitors. Disconnect box/thermostat: good. Unit #UD2F was found with a faulty capacitor. Replaced under warranty. Checked electrical motors and refrigerant circuit diagnostic. Both systems are cooling the home at the time of maintenance.

Cooling maintenance on 2023 Lennox split system. Furnace is located in attic/access Grand bedroom closet. Member recently changed out owned filters. Prior to service member stated equipment was having problems keeping up with heat load. Verified temperature split and was getting 11° split at supply and returned. Further inspection indicated the system was low on R-410A refrigerant. Added 3 pounds to bring equipment back up to manufacturers specifications. Informed Client that refrigerant never depletes when adding refrigerant generally indicates leak within system. This is our first time at clients property. Client signed acknowledge form. Performed cooling service on a 2015 American standard split system. Furnace is located in outside closet. Changed out 16 x 25 filter located within furnace cabinet. Cleared all electrical components of dust and debris, verified proper sequence of operation. Checked the volts and amps. Checked capacitor. Found starting out exceeding specifications. Will send over estimate for compressor saver kit to assist compressor at startup and prolong life of compressor. Verified refrigerant levels and took temperature splits and cycled equipment. Also installed Jones clear out valve and water safety switch and tested and cleared condensation line at Jones valve. Thermostat checked out operational.
