Jeff was the technician that came a week ago for our original visit and this was the leak test. He worked quickly and showed me where the leak was located. Unfortunately, it was in the evaporative coil, so it has to be replaced. Jeff took the extra time to find the right part at a better price and after a few minutes my estimate was reduced by a decent amount. Jeff was professional, informative and friendly.

The service was great, but I’m getting a little weary of having a new tech show up every time. Chris was very nice but didn’t seem very well versed on working around moduler homes. Didn’t realize there were 2 breaker panels and cut the whole house power instead of just the AC unit.

I've had three services with this company. The Generac installation was efficient and was installed in a timely fashion, but the trench in my driveway is still there after 3 months of waiting on permit approvals. The security lights are not working as promised. They do not come on when someone enters the driveway. It is possible to walk right up to the front of our vehicle undetected. The emergency AC service was timely and reasonable.

Upon arrival client stated system not cooling well. Found dual run capacitor completely dead and compressor not running. Replaced capacitor and checked refrigeration levels. Advised client on age and life expectancy. Office to call and schedule Mike out for replacement estimate.

Found failed blower motor, went over options with client. Due to age of system cannot guarantee how long system will last even if we replace blower motor. Client declined repair at this time and is looking at alternative cooling methods for a longer temporary fix. Advised client on full system replacement and sent estimate via email.

Performed cooling maintenance on 2016. American Standard split system. Furnace is Coleman downflow located in laundry room closet. Changed out two 16 x 20 x 1 filters is located at furnace. cleared all electrical, dust and debris, verified proper sequence of operation, checked volts and amps, checked start and run capacitors, verified refrigerant levels, subcool, superheat, line temperatures, and cycled system. Thermostat checked out OK, washed condensing coil. System is within manufacturers specifications and cooling and operating properly at this time of service.

Running and starting amperage measured according to manufacture specifications on all motors. Refrigerant temperature and pressure documented in photos. Cleaned compartment with CO2 tank. Replaced filter, washed down condenser coil and cleared condensate drain line. Recommend installing surge protectors. Estimate sent via email. System is cooling home at the time of maintenance.

Performed annual AC maintenance on 2013 American Standard rooftop package unit. Client changed filter. Left 14 x 25 x 1 filter with client. Check amps, volt, capacitor, and start kit. Check, refrigerant levels, Superheat, subcool, line, temperature, and temperature split. Cleanedelectrical and burner compartment. Found all electrical components and refrigerant levels to be within manufacture specifications. System is operating and cooling properly at time of service.

Installed surge protectors at FAU and condenser. Client is satisfied with system performance. No other issues or problems to report at this time.

I found that the Start Capacitor is rated for 189-227 and we are reading 115. I advised client about replacing the Start capacitor and sent client estimate to do the work. The system checked out operational at the time of the service.

I also found that blower motor run capacitor tested on the low end of good. I also advised client about adding a Hard Start Kit. Start up amps on the compressor are rated for 124 and we are getting 135.8. Sent client estimate to add a Hard Start kit. Sent client estimate to change blower motor capacitor under a part warranty only. Advised client that if he can find the paperwork stating he has 5 years labor between now and July 12th which will officially mark 5 years since the system was first installed. If customer can find paperwork stating that labor is still covered before July 12th then I can change part under full warranty. If not then customer would pay for the labor which I sent client a price for. The system checked out operational at the time of the service.
