Provided three estimates for work throughout home.

Arrived at customer’s home to diagnose no power to part of home. Found that there were two breakers in main breaker panel were in the tripped position. Reset 100 amp breaker to restore power to part of home, it other 20 amp breaker would not stay set. Found that after I unplugged landscape lighting and string light in front entryway that breaker stayed set. Informed the customer that if breaker keeps tripping that they will need to unplug landscape lights and string light to set breaker. Also informed customer that it would noticed visible heat marks in panel and that it should be changed out soon.

Arrived at customer’s home to diagnose light non op that we recently installed. Tested fixture and found that fixture did operate correctly. Took pictures to confirm this to send to customer.

Arrived for a complimentary home safety inspection. The circuit breakers in the panel were UL-listed; however, they did not include arc fault or GFCI breakers. I was unable to confirm whether the gas line is properly bonded. It is recommended to bond your gas line to safeguard against electrical hazards such as lightning strikes, electrical faults, and static electricity, as these can damage the piping and lead to gas leaks. The interior outlets do not meet current code requirements. Installing tamper-resistant (TR) outlets is advised to prevent electrical shocks, burns, and injuries, especially in households with children, by utilizing internal shutters to block foreign objects. The panel lacks surge protection; a whole-house surge protector is recommended to protect all electrical devices—ranging from major appliances like HVAC systems and refrigerators to smart devices—against damaging power surges. Arrived to mark two 2x2 potential digging locations requested by SCE for panel change out.

Arrived to remove and replace the exterior wall-mounted sconce on the garage. Replaced the weather-resistant electrical box and installed a new wall sconce.

Arrived at customer’s home to give a price for various electrical projects customer wants to do around the home

Arrived at customer’s home to perform a complimentary electrical safety inspection. Upon arrival I found that both main breaker panel and sub panel were pushmatic panels. Informed customer of this and stated that both panels are a fire hazard. Customer stated he’d be remodeling in about a year and panels will be changed then. Also found that there was no surge protection, but I informed customer that whole home surge protection would be done at panel change, but that he should install surge protection on hvac unit to protect it in the meantime. Customer stated he’d call the office to schedule surge protection for hvac unit.

Arrived at customer’s home to hang interior chandelier in place of existing track light, hook up exterior chandelier, and hook up exterior spot light for grill. Removed existing track light on interior of home and hung customer supplied chandelier in its place. Took down existing light for grill on exterior and re ran wire to chandelier location. Set box next to spot light and ran wire down to a switch in exterior closet next to grill. Tested and verified all fixtures were operating correctly with customer to complete scope of work for today.
