I did the IID power company free check up for IID customers. Through this program, I shall now consider contracting with Hydes A/C for my twice yearly check ups.

Jonathon was extremely professional and made our experience less stressful than I was anticipating. Given the fact that our air conditioning unit is an older model, we are happy that Jonathon was able to recognize the problem and help navigate us through the most reasonable and efficient repair process. Great experience.

Estimate for condenser and coil only plus hot water heater. Client will get instant rebate and Hydes will wait for the rebate.
I Performed Maintenance on the Cooling System. Also replaced a 20x30 filter. I also flushed the condensate drain. The system is a 2013 model located on the ground. I found that the Dual Run Capacitor tested out of range. I advised client that the part is under warranty, but not the labor. I also found that the Start Up Amps are rated for 134 and I am getting 152.5 Amps on start up. Recommended replacing the Dual Run Capacitor and installing a Hard Start Kit to help bring down starting amps. Client to advise.
I performed a maintenance on (2) cooling systems and I found that the living room system was (3) pounds low on R-22 freon and the bedroom system was (1) pounds low on R-22 freon. I recharge both systems and tested. Then I changed out (3) filters located on the ground
Maintenance on cooling system. Tested equipment and found everything running properly and within limits, washed condenser coils and replaced filters.
Could not access area to get on roof due to tree/bush in the way. Advised it needs to be cut before we can get into access.
Performed evaluation and maintenance on 4 ton split horizontal system. Freon unit that has manufature date of 2004. 15 yrs old. System is operational but has signs of normal ware and tear. The recommendation for systems over 12 yrs old and use freon should be considered for replacement. Freon is the refrigerant that the system uses and has been phasing out since 2010 and will stop production 2020. The system is operational so it would be up to the homeowner to replace the equipment so they don’t have to deal with these up coming issues and also break downs obviously during the hottest days of the years.
I Performed Maintenance on both of the Cooling Systems. Also replaced a 20x30 14x14 and 14x24 Filters. Both Cooling Systems are 2011 models located on the ground. I found that the Main House Unit was two pounds low on R-410A. I recharged to a Subcool of 12 Degrees and Superheat of 34 Degrees and tested the system. Homeowner gave approval. Everything else checked out operational at the time of service.
Install new warranty coil added 2 lbs of 410a
Dropped off warranty book
Both Jonathan and Lisa (2:04 p.m.), mail box is full , unable to leave mess. Called client no answer, rang doorbell and no answer. Waited 15 minutes moved on.

IID check me on York split system. Fau located inside hallway attic. Tested passed.
Isolation test will return in a week
I Performed Maintenance on the Cooling System. Also client replaced own filters. The system is a 2014 model located on the ground. I also flushed the condensate drain. I found that the system was 3 pounds low on R-410A Freon. I recharged to a Subcool of 10 Degrees and Superheat of 22 Degrees and tested the system. I advised client of leak in the system since we have already added Freon once before. I recommended Isolation and or Leak search. Client asked about using the sniffer to find the leak and inspect the Evaporator Coil. Advised we would check in the fall when we do the Heater Service. Office will need to send service tech out in the fall.

I Performed Maintenance on the Cooling System. Also replaced a 20x25 filter. The system is a 2017 model located on the ground. I also flushed the condensate drain. Everything else checked out operational at the time of service.

Tested equipment and found unit low on refrigerant. Added 2 pounds of R-22 and tested. Checked coils for oil and possibly there is a leak in evap coils. Advised homeowner and explained about refrigerant and age of equipment, will make an estimate and email.
I performed a maintenance on (1) cooling system and I found that everything checked out ok. Then I changed out (1) filters located on the ground
