Updated COVID-19 Announcement

Hydes has been serving the community for almost 50 years and we want to assure our customers that we will continue to serve and uphold the ever-changing guidelines from the DC. While great, thorough, professional service has been our top priority over the years, we also will continue to do our best with protecting our customers and employees as we emerge from this COVID-19 health crisis.

As more people are getting vaccinated and getting a little more comfortable, the Hydes team wanted to let you know of our updated/revised procedures:

Service & Maintenance Calls

Our NATE Certified service technicians and maintenance technicians are ready to help you with any air conditioning repairs or seasonal maintenance which is vital as summer is approaching. Masks will be worn when needed, as it pertains to CDC guidelines and shoe covers are worn per Hydes company policy. Plastic gloves will only be worn per request. Our technicians will continue to disinfect their trucks after each call to the best of their ability. System maintenance is still very important and should be handled as we are entering the hot weather months.

Maintenance calls require filters to be changed inside the home which we will continue to do in regard to the social distancing guidelines. Service repair calls that require our technicians to be inside the home i.e. thermostat problems, attic access, etc. will also continue with the same social distance guidelines.

The safety and comfort of our customers and the Hydes Team continue to be important to us, please do not put off any maintenance or repairs that could affect the performance of your AC system. This could not only interrupt your level of comfort but also the energy efficiency of your unit

Obtaining Signatures for Work/Payment

Our normal process is for repair work to be approved via signature before beginning work. You will be asked to sign a phone or tablet by our team or have the option of electronic signature approval via email per customer request.

Payments can still be made electronically, and personal checks or cash are accepted. Our technicians can process your payment on-site or our office team are available for payment processing over the phone.

Concern & Comfort

We greatly appreciate our customers and team members here at Hydes. We have worked diligently servicing our community while maintaining CDC guidelines over the last year of this health crisis.

We will continue to respect our customers’ requests as it pertains to the guidelines as we are concerned for you as well as our team members.

Lastly, as we progress to normalcy in our day-to-day lives Hyde’s will continue to be concerned with providing our customers with great service, technical knowledge and equipment in regard to your comfort level and needs.
