Been with Hydes for years and living in the desert you need a company you can trust. For me its Hydes and the techs are great. They ALWAYS show they care and have NEVER made me feel as though I was taken. Tech also checked pan and made sure water was able to drain properly from pan. Love Hyde's

I called late in the afternoon when our AC went out. Just a couple of hours later I got a text that Jeff was on his way,. He was knowledgeable, friendly and got the job done quickly. Also when I called in, I spoke to Kirsty. She was so helpful. The whole experience was great. I will use them again and also refer them. Thanks to them we are cool tonight!
The technician was very professional and helpful in explaining over the phone the issue with the AC unit at our rental property. He also took time with the tenant to educate him on ways to maintain the unit to prevent future issues. Very happy with the professionalism of this company from start to finish.
Barry Smith (Smity) was on time. Infact, he was early. He was a good listner and was able to solve my electrical issues in less than 25 minutes. He was not hesitant to get down and get dirty. You could tell that he was extremely knowledgable.
It's HOT here in Coachella Valley and our garage was unusable in the summer. Hyde's installed a Mini-Split tin the garage and now it's perfect. They were on time and the installation was quicker than they suggested. We recommend them to everyone who asks.
Hydes Air Conditioning did a great job from first response to last cleanup detail. Jeff was very personable and efficient. He came into our home assessed the situation and then commenced to maintain our units. His visit was not unnecessarily prolonged, he explained what he was going to do and he just got the job done.
Couldn't have gone any better. Barry and Mike Hyde patient and helpful - then installers Frank and Joe were very punctual, neat, polite and communicative during installation. We feel that we definitely picked the right company for this big project.
Actually it was cooling maintenance. The hyperlink online did not work to list it appropriately. Jonathan was pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive. He also suggested replacing capacitors and a starter kit which we approved and he completed.

Pleasant, cordial, and professional telephone etiquette when making appointments, and when providing reminders, etc. Technicians also are very professional and courteous and "seemingly" efficient while servicing our A/C System(s). The score I am submitting has more to do with my questioning the competence, professionalism, and followup as related to my recent experience with this company which until now I considered reliable and responsible.After Hydes' bi-annual servicing per our contract agreement, I reported a "new noise" very audible around one of the return air ducts. Hydes was informed of the issue and advised that the return appointment would be for late afternoon the following day. A different technician arrived, and agreed that there was an unusual "whining" noise. The technician's explanation was that the newly installed filter as part of the servicing, was creating a "metallic" interaction with the metal grill; that this can be a normal occurrence, is not that unusual; and that he would return the next day to install an "adhesive" border/band around the opening which is the normal procedure and which would solve the problem.The technician did not return the following day so growing a little "tired" of hearing this whining throughout the day, I decided to simply replace the filter with one of my own. The noise immediately went away. While replacing the filter however, I discovered that rather than insert the filter in the recessed part of the grill designed for that purpose, the filter was forced in above the recess into the larger actual duct opening. Pieces of rubber/foam wedges (apparently pieces of rubberized piping insulation) had been placed around the edges of the filter to make it fit the opening, the result of which was a more pronounced continuation of the whining noise we were experiencing. This was the approach of the second Hydes technician in an attempt to quell the noise.Even I am aware that the recess is designed to fit the exact size of the intended filter and does not require rubber wedges, nor does it require an advanced degree to see or at least figure out the obvious. Quite baffling to say the least, not to mention my disappointment at the lack of efficiency and heretofore perceived competence of Hydes' technical staff.Hydes otherwise has been quite prompt, courteous and professional in their demeanor. I am just not sure why this happened particularly while performing such a basic procedure as changing out filters. Two days later and no word from Hydes. The technician still has not returned nor bothered to make contact to explain why, apologize, or to reschedule.After several years of annual service contracts with Hydes, should I now be forced to lower my expectations or just not renew what I thought was a "professional services" contractual arrangement?
Fantastic service as always. Izzy was very pleasant and knowledgeable. There were some technical issues with using his iphone to connect to the Riverside County meeting software. Hopefully those can be easily corrected.
Hydes has done the service on our A/C for the past 16 years and we have found them to be very professional and HONEST , which sometimes is not the case with repair or service people. Highly recommend them for your A/C service needs.
