Our 3 week old American Standard 5 ton Platinum A/C unit quit cooling! The Thermostat showed two alerts and no temperature displayed with the system inoperative. Alex determined it was due to an intermittent short term power loss or software glitch. He restarted the system and all is well. I wonder what the system logs show since the AS app is setup for both American Standard and Hydes to be able to trace this problem down after the incident. Maybe American Standard will send out an update to prevent a another occurrance?
Alex came very quickly the same day and was able to clear the blocked drain line and check the system. It is now performing well.

After Diagnostic found water leaking in attic from condensation line in attic going to run new copper line to drain outside waiting for client to sign estimate and signed up client on comfort plan client signed estimate ran new copper line condensation off of roof top unit is draining properly now
Upon arrival client stated blower motor would not shut off cycled system three times blower motor shut off let temperature get to 83 blower motor shut off advise client let system run all night and do not touch. The thermostat. System was shut off. System is working properly at this time
Up unit was off thermostat had error codes sop 004.02 rh sensor and sop 004.00 indoor temperature sensor rebooted system codes went away we will monitor system. Unit is cooling at this time
After Diagnostic found condensation line backed up installed Jones valve and cleared condensation line system is draining properly at this time advised client age of system and r 22 no longer manufactured sent for replacement
