Alex showed up on time, very polite, checked our system quickly and made all necessary adjustments.
We lost cooling from a 4.5 year old AV/heat pump due to a leak that developed in a copper pipe in the compressor. Despite mfg. 10 year warrantee we were charged a total of approx. $2,000 to locate the leak, repair it and to recharge with a full amount of refrigerant. The price was quite a shock and the pain was not lessened any by good explanation or preparation by Alex. He worked efficiently but was much more eager to get my credit card signature than to provide a decent explanation for the high cost.

Excellent always with a smile
Alex was courteous and kind when he came to service my AC. I was away for a few days and my neighbor left a note on my door saying that my compressor was loud and something must be wrong. I called Hyde’s and Alex came a few hours later. It turns out nothing was wrong with my unit but the neighbor had a problem with his. Alex was kind enough to accompany me to neighbors house to explain. Very nice of Alex.
We just arrive home from vacation last night and the temperature was above settings so I contacted you. By this morning it was right on temp as set. I’m so sorry for the overreaction! Alex was gracious and positive as I apologized for the over-reaction!

After Diagnostic found condensation line is cracked going to return back tomorrow from 8 to 10 to repair condensation line for mini split
Upon arrival mini split in garage was leaking water after Diagnostic found condensation line was in a bucket filled up not letting water flow removed hose from bucket water started flowing unit is not leaking in garage anymore advised client to monitor we will return if it happens again
Upon arrival living room area unit was running after further inspection found coil frozen defrosted coil checked pressures temperature split in range did find a clogged filter replaced filter unit is up and cooling
After Diagnostic found bad compressor due to age of system will be installing a 17 seer Friday from 8 to 10 and reconnect zone panel to unit
After Diagnostic found faulty capacitor replaced capacitor unit is up and cooling performed temperature split and pressures system has Freon temperature split 15 degrees system is cooling but not properly unit is r 22 no longer manufactured sent estimates for replacement system is past life expectancy also signed up client on comfort plan
After Diagnostic found blower motor was not spinning causing unit to freeze up due to age system will be installing new 2 ton mini split 20 seer tomorrow from 12 to 2 customer paying by check
After Diagnostic found condensation line was clogged took primary apart and cleaned trap tested unit is draining properly at this time see photos

After Diagnostic found burnt contactor replaced contactor unit is up and cooling

After Diagnostic found tripped breaker unit that serves living area serial number last four A29H had a tripped breaker reset breaker checked all high voltage wires tightened all wires checked capacitors in range checked amps on compressor the max is 14 running at 12 unit is running on high amps did advise homeowner are 2006 past life expectancy sent estimate for replacement system is up and cooling at this time
Upon arrival client stated the back bedroom was not getting any air flow , checked pressures are in range checked ductwork original still intact , adjusted register now air flow is blowing towards the bed unit is properly working in cooling at this time did advise about maintenance plan. Sent estimate.
Called client no answer called Lennox to order compressor prices went up sent new estimate if client wants compressor for the price of the compressor. Recommend at least a partial system sent estimates for replacement and compressor as well.
Couldn’t fix PVC drain the drain pipe is rotten out. It’s been broken underneath the dirt they have to run condensation pump
After Diagnostic found fau that serves bedroom area condensation line was clogged cleared condensation line unit is draining properly at this time. cleared condensation line on other unit as well.
After Diagnostic found faulty thermostat replaced thermostat unit is up and cooling
Upon arrival condenser was off thermostat was functioning with error code 177.04 and 184.08 with further diagnostic ran drive test passed checked amps on compressor are in range. Unit is up. And Cooling will monitor system.

After Diagnostic found leak at high side muffler pipe by compressor repaired leak pressurized vacuum system unit is up and cooling
After Diagnostic found faulty, pressure switch bypass pressure switch unit is up And Cooling also sent an estimate for replacement due to some age other parts failing
After Diagnostic the condenser that serves master has oil on the ground inside condenser as well going to return tomorrow morning with ultrasonic for 8 to 10 to look for leak at condenser
Upon arrival condenser was on and running with further inspection condenser was not properly communicating and giving error codes ran a temporary wire unit is working properly at this time for office to schedule to run new thermostat wire to both units
Upon returning back to perform isolation test on unit. Upon putting pressure through the line, only heard a pop and started losing pressure right away. Could hear the pop from the outside line set. Was not able to dig up lineset from the outside. Informed Client, we have found a leak and leak is coming from the line set. Will need to replace line set to get system up and running properly. We’ll get with management team and show pictures and videos and will send estimate via email to rerun line set will also need HOA approval to rerun line set.
Sent estimate for mini split client will give us a call at the end of the day
