We installed a 1.5 ton ductless unit we also ran our own electrical to the condenser from the electrical panel.
We have removed the existing ceiling-mounted air handler in the casita and replaced it with a Daikin ceiling-mounted cassette style air handler, compatible with the existing Daikin heat pump condensing unit using R410a refrigerant. Additionally, new refrigerant lines and a power cord have been installed, routing from the casita through the attic to the condensing unit. Two new wired controllers (thermostats) have been installed, one in the casita and the other in the garage. Furthermore, we have patched and painted the ceilings in both the casita and garage to ensure a finished appearance. We got the unit installed however we could not figure out why the unit was not communicating with the outdoor unit. We tried troubleshooting with Daikin support as well and could not figure it out.

We ran new low voltage and made sure there is no tripping hazard. We also fixed the plenum replacing the tape with metal so that it will not open again. I got in the attic to figure out why the den was not getting much air what I gathered was that it is the longest and the last run on the living room system. The fix would be removing the from the living room system and adding it to the master bedroom system.

We figured out what the issue was one of the wires for the thermostat wire heading to the condenser was bad so the system is only running on two stage right now. A new low-voltage wire needs to be ran. However, the cost needs to be discussed with the customer I took pictures and have a plan on how to run it, but have not discussed it with the customer.

For the zoning configuration, the following was accomplished: - Zone 1, designated for the living area, now includes a sensor and requires three dampers. - Zone 2, serving the master suite, is equipped with a sensor and requires two dampers. - Zone 3, designated for the guest bedrooms, includes two sensors and necessitates a nine-inch damper. This detailed approach ensures optimal climate control across the specified zones, tailored to meet the customer's comfort requirements.
