Frank has been a part of the Hydes team for over 3 years, however, he’s been in the HVAC business for about eight years. The Desert Hot Springs native has spent 13 years in the desert and puts his NATE certification to good use by providing customers with innovative recommendations to increase their comfort and prolong their air conditioner’s life expectancy. Although he’s eager to help valley families with their air conditioners, he loves to spend time with his family during his time off. His main goal is to make sure customers are happy by providing great service to them.

Not too happy. I need a new compressor on my 8-9 year old system it was determined. I am now suffering with over 100 degrees temperatures outside because Hyde A C doesn’t stock compressors so I have been told I have to wait up to 10 days or so for them order from the factory. I am not happy with American Standard because having paid around $25000 for the system 8 or 9 years ago I expected the quality to be much better.

Absolutely impressed with ALL the staff at Hyde’s, and Frank was awesome too!! We thought we could get away with replacement of a motor part but Frank assured us it was just too old of a unit to repair. Really appreciated his diligence and speed of helping us get back an ac unit located in our [hot hot] attic.

Frank Velarde came out to our condo today to check out a "challenge" we were having with our air conditioner not turning on. As always, Frank was friendly, and professional and put us at ease (we were concerned about the AC not working and us not knowing what the problem was. It was hot in our condo and around 100 degrees outside. Frank checked out the whole system and was able to solve our problem and get the AC up and running. Frank is and always has been terrific! He is a credit to the Hydes AC company. We look forward to working with him and Hydes for many years to come.

Went to outdoor unit and found thermostat wire had been cut short, attempted to reattach but thermostat was still not detecting outdoor unit, ran temporary wire to ensure that outdoor unit would deliver successful signal. Found unit is still not being detected by thermostat and attempted to hook up system in non communicating. Outdoor unit still not responding with successful 24v call. Bypassed outdoor circuit board in order to call for cooling and was able to get compressor running but outdoor condenser fan motor would not operate. Advised client of findings and went over options.client stated that they need to speak with their tax person before moving forward.
