Ordered new fan motor from Howard for kitchen. Noise continues

Ecm blower motor installed by general air recently diagnosed doing same thing. Blower motor starts then slows down then runs properly. Equipment is receiving proper voltage. Recommend replacing motor. Equipment new and client and is under warranty though advised we do not warranty Daiken. Client wants to wait until motor stops then will replace motor. Advise we can replace motor at full price then homeowner can wait for reimbursement from manufacturer. Do to motor working at this time decision is to wait.

We are installing new unit next door home owner owns two properties. Attempted to use thermostat from other house and wiring incorrectly. Removed jumper between w and y. Unit operating though advise is in very poor condition. Home is unoccupied

Equipment working on arrival. Checked compressor amps, capacitors, refrigerant, blower motor are operating. Client notices unit shuts off then starts again. Pressure switch’s tested good. Advised equipment is working properly though is in poor condition. Client elderly on very fixed income and wanting to wait on replacement. Recommended continued maintenance service

Uploaded video of knocking sound recording home owner recorded. Sn 6yjf-2 ton for kitchen. No noise on site. Check fan blade. Opened top and checked inside condenser for rubbing of blade. Cycle operation multiple times on off and no noise at this time. Client to monitor

Fan mode continues to stay on when off. Repaired electrical short.

Performed annual maintenance on 2019 upflow gas furnace American standard split system. Changed out 20x25 filter upstairs. Fau located upstairs in basement. Cleared out condensation line to drain properly. Followed sequence of operations gas valve, safety switches, blower motor speeds, and flame ignitor. Temperature rise 45 degrees. Nest checked operational. Maintenance ductless unit filters and coils. Client renewed comfort plan. System is operating properly at this time of service

Performed diagnostic on bedroom system sn-7959. Equipment iceing up on arrival. Diagnostic found blower motor over heated, coils iceing up do to no airflow. Replaced blower motor capacitor, blower motor started operating. Blower motor off balance and wobbling, overheating which advise will eventually fail to operate, recommend replacing motor. Equipment in very poor condition well past life expectancy with multiple and issues. Advised equipment uses r22 refrigerant which is no longer manufactured. 3 systems Percision tune up. Cleaned and replaced filters on roof. Verified refrigerant pressures are good. Verified electrical connections are secure. Cleared drain lines, verified drain lines are secure and draining properly. Checked compressors, front office has stopped cooling and then starts cooling again. York package unit - sn-9961 which serves front office compressor running in very high amps 20 amps Rla requires below 16 amps. Compressor stops running due to over heating which advise indicates compressor is failing. Equipment is 2006 in poor condition well past life expectancy. Equipment uses r22 refrigerant which is no longer manufactured. Recommend replacement of equipment to prevent continuous breakdowns. Attached estimate below also emailed for equipment replacement

4-hvac mechanical inspections on 2003 York equipment. 2 ton for casita, two 3 tons and one 5 ton serving main home. Verified sequence of operation on each system. Verified refrigerant pressures are within manufacture specifications. Advise equipment uses r22 refrigerant which has been phased out and is not manufactured. Verified compressor, fan motor and blower motors are operational at this time. Equipment in very poor condition well past life expectancy, with multiple potential breakdowns due to age though is operational at this time. Inspected attic flex ductwork systems are sealed and connected. Verified ductwork systems are in good condition no major areas of concern. Verified attic insulation is in good condition. Verified electrical circuits to mechanical equipment in good condition with proper gauge wiring to each unit. Verified each mechanical system is on independent electrical circuits. Recommend replacement of HVAC equipment do to poor condition well past life expectanc

Maintenance and safety check on Maytag equipment and Goodman equipment mix matched with newer off brand innovair for bedrooms area. Home under construction currently unoccupied. Replaced filters, cleared drain lines. Bedroom equipment non operational, repaired electrical short and equipment started operating. Verified equipment is operational at this time Equipment in poor condition, found excessive construction dust and debris inside mechanical equipment which advise will decrease equipment efficiency. Inspection of ductwork found ductwork in very poor condition (see photos). Ductwork falling apart and will eventually start leaking air into attic. Advised equipment uses 410a refrigerant which is no longer manufactured. Bedroom equipment has sighns of mold in return air platform (see photos) Highly recommend equipment replacement do to existing equipment in poor condition past life expectancy to avoid multiple potential breakdowns during summer. Recommend replacing ductwork in attic

Performed a heating maintenance on a 2013 American Standard gas furnace located inside closet. Replaced a 20x25 filter. Cycled heating equipment, checked temp split and heat rise. Verified volts and amps. Checked all safety switches. Found no carbon monoxide detected. Cleared condensation line and cleaned burner compartment. Heating system is operational at this time.

Diagnostic on over/under Goettle package unit. Equipment fan motor failed and is non operational causing compressor to over heat. Found equipment full of organic growth inside coil compartment (attached photos below). Blower motor extremely dirty and overheating. Equipment uses r22 refrigerant which advise is no longer manufactured. Advised fan motor will require replacement to start though advise equipment may have additional problems do to poor condition. Home is tenant occupied, contacted home owner over phone and advised on repair and replacement options. Recommend equipment replacement do to existing equipment in very poor condition to avoid continuous breakdowns. Attached two options below for fan motor and full system replacement. Financing is available.

Verified gas pressure is good. Drain lines are clear, recommend jones valves in future service to clear drain lines properly existing systems share one drain line. Verified heating sequence of operation is working properly according to manufacturer specifications. No surge protection on equipment or main electrical panel. Second opinion on 2010 Lennox. Previous company said to replace unit due to low voltage wires sun rotting. Verified sequence of operation is working properly at this time. Home is tenant occupied. Advised home owner over phone. Equipment is past life expectancy though is operational. Recommend routine maintenance plan to keep equipment clean and operating.
