No answer so left long detailed voicemail explaining what I see in rh chat photos, the white stuff just be drywall debris that fell out of box at end of clean up. After some worth outdoor unit I swept all debris and then vacuums with shop vac at outdoor unit and indoor area and closet. Doe wet looking spot can either be water from my water jug topping over or when dollying our the old condenser anything dripped from that even tho I pinched refrigerant lines so nothing could leak out. But nothing should be of any concern from what I see in photos. Did our bar to keep things clean and cleaned up after.

Installing 1- ton ductless mini split in casita. Job complete.

The service involved the installation of an evaporator coil, specifically for the living room system. The technician replaced the expansion valve (TXV) to enable compatibility with R22 refrigerant. Additionally, the technician secured the coil to the furnace and the plenum. Finally, the unit was charged with R22 refrigerant to ensure optimal performance.

Upon arrival a 2004 York split system with r22 refrigerant had indoor furnace blower motor running , with a call for cooling at Nest mirror thermostat. Checked outdoor condenser unit (located in back yard by back patio) and contactor not engaged and 0v at thermostat wire so as not off on any pressure switch. Verified 24v from Y and C connections for condenser at indoor circuit board, follows wiring, it splices at least 2 times I can access and had 24v inside but not at splice outside. Made sure all wiring was right and reset power to indoor and outdoor . After that all loads came on, indoor blower motor, outdoor condenser fan motor and compressor. System was getting a 24° split and based off r22 refrigerant numbers it had plenty of Freon but numbers were out of specs. Inspected metering device and found it’s a piston. Replaced dirty 14x24 filter at filter rack below closet in laundry room. System is cooling now. Informed homeowner of findings and recommended signing up on Hyde’s Family

Homeowner states bedroom unit breaker was tripping and thermostat blank. Unit with issue is located on right side of home. Outdoor closet for furnace and condenser next to it. Found transformer primary wire terminal disconnected. Reconnected and power came back to board, 120v and 24v detected. Blower motor fan started right away and could hear it was broken, disconnected power. I inspected blower motor and wheel and found fan blade section broken off from center mount plate where motor rotor connects. No temporary fix. Informed homeowner I cannot get part or quote on coat until Goodman distributor is open Tuesday 9/8. I informed homeowner I will call him first thing Tuesday morning about coat and availability and see what homeowner would like to do. System is 2004 (life expectancy in the desert is 10-15 years) and uses r22 refrigerant, which is no longer manufactured and very difficult to get and expensive so depending on availability and cost , system replacement may be the best optio

Upon arrival I found outdoor condenser had a swollen/failed 60uF compressor capacitor. Replaced 60uF capacitor and tested system in cooling. System came on properly and everything is up and running. System is getting a 22° temperature split. System is charged and cooling properly. Informed homeowner about previous maintenance tech recommended replacing weak capacitor and new capacitor has a 2- year warranty from Hyde’s.

Performed fall heating maintenance on 2019 American Standard split 80% gas furnace located in primary bedroom/bathroom attic access. Replaced 20x30 hallway ceiling filter. Cleared condensation drain from attic jones valve. Blew out all dust from furnace compartments. Blew off dust and debris from platform. 1050 thermostat working properly, no alerts, history all clear. Heating sequence of operations was performed properly. Zero carbon monoxide detected. No gas leaks at furnace piping. Gas pressures to specs. Flame sensor working properly. 45° heat rise. System is heating properly and safely at time of maintenance.

Performed AC Cooling maintenance on (2) American Standard split systems (installed 12/17/24). Replaced (2) 20x25 filters at garage and inside closet fau filter racks. Cleared condensation drains, jones valves working on each drain line. Honeywell color thermostat and T10 thermostat working properly. Cleaned out condenser electrical compartments. Rinsed down the condenser coils. All wiring is tight and secure. Checked (2) 70/7.5 dual run capacitors, both within range. Checked compressor amps, and condenser fan motor amps. Checked voltages. Checked system charges/temperature splits (22°-23°). Fixed some paneling and mounting screws for indoor fau as the blower motor that was replaced was making vibrating noise issue but nothing wrong with motor, was vibrating panel. No more loud noise. Both systems raw cooling properly at time of maintenance.

Performed annual fall heating maintenance on 2015 Heil and 2017 American Standard upflow 80% gas furnaces in garage closet. ADT thermostats working properly, tested furnaces in heat mode from thermostats. Cleaned out burner compartments and electrical compartments. Replaced 14x25 filter with Heil unit filter rack. Cleaned washable filter with American Standard furnace. Cleared condensation drain and made sure vent and cap were setup correctly. Wiped off dust from panels and units. Heating sequence of operations was performed properly to completion. Zero carbon monoxide detected. Getting proper heat rise and gas pressures. Checked all heating and electrical components. Checked inducer and blower motor amps and condition. Both systems are heating safely and properly. Homeowner renewed maintenance plan before service, coverage til 9/14/27.

Performed AC Cooling maintenance on 2021 American Standard 5-ton Silver split system and Mitsubishi ductless unit for garage. Cleared condensation drain and replaced customer supplied 4” media filter at hallway closet upflow furnace. Cleaned out condenser electrical compartments. Checked dual run capacitor (70/7.5) , amps for compressor and condenser fan motor. Wiring all tight and secure. System charge is to specs, getting 22° temperature split. Rinsed down the condenser coils for both condensers. Cleaned ductless washable filters and getting a 23° split. Both systems are working properly and cooling to specs at time of maintenance service.

Repairs leak on evaporator coil. Pressure tested after and checked for any other spots or possible rubouts. Leak repaired and no other leaks detected. Pulled vacuum, under 500 microns. Performed vacuum decay test, passed, micron level stabilized around 500. Added back factory charge of 8lbs 6oz. Pressures to specs and 20° temperature split. System is cooling properly now.

Homeowner stated blower motor for garage Lennox furnace #81477 that was recently replaced on 8/18/26 wasn’t running when calling for cool while outdoor condensing unit would run. Checked circuit board and was getting 24v for a fan call but 0v at the high voltage fan speed tap terminals. 120v coming in at L1 and transformer. Bad circuit board. Confirmed Ira a visual inspection of back of circuit board, degrading and burn marks. Replaced circuit board and tested functions. Fan came on right away with condenser as well with call for cooling. 1-year warranty. Informed about maintenance plan (2-systems).

Spoke with homeowners about motor that was replaced and that the sounds are completely normal and any psc motor would make same sound, they asked about about replacing with the original from carrier and I reminded them I did give them the option a couple times that I could send it as a quote if they wanted to think about it and if the original it would have a wait time of a few days and be more expensive and they did want the repair then. I informed them that we cannot repair old motors as they wanted to know if I could’ve repaired the original. I apologized that it’s not as quiet as they’d hope but they would all make a motor sound and I wouldn’t want them to have to spend more to have the same issue. See notes.

Replace Evaporator temperature sensor (ET). Restarted system. After 1050 rebooted 161 code was on display, switches back from OFF to cooling and then fault code disappeared as it sensed it. System no longer in limp mode. Setpoint 75°, indoor temp 75°. System is cooling properly now. Covered under warranty. Labor expires but Hyde’s waiving any labor cost. Filled out warranty form

Estimate to install horizontal evaporator coil in attic and recharge system four pounds of r410a. Hydes offer zero percent financing for 18 months OAC. Installed coil, pressure tested after brazing. Pulled deep vacuum to 210 microns, vacuum decay test passed. Added back lost charge of 4 lbs. system refrigerant pressures, line temperatures, superheat, and subcool (8°) to manufacture specifications. 21° split. System is cooling properly now. Cleaned up and vacuumed any debris from attic access area and any trash from attic repair. Collected total charge from homeowner CC,

Called and left voicemail. Will try again . Informed they are sending it out this week and will get with office to hold a spot but cannot confirm repair date and time until we have the compressor in our possession.

Spoke with Mr.Nassar and informed him that error is for the wireless temperature sensors in the small white boxes and need 2 AAA batteries and after replacing it should clear the fault. If any issues informed him to reach back out or schedule us for a diagnostic

Homeowners stated new blower motor is making a very loud humming sound and old motor was much quieter. I cycled system on and couldn’t hear anything unusual inside home or out right next to unit. I can hear the low electrical hum that is normal for these motors and doesn’t mean there is any issue and any psc blower motor will make the same sound. Informed homeowners that sound is normal and if anything the older motor was getting weaker or electrical hum was masked by the fan or the bearings, informed that new motors are much quieter overall so the electrical hum becomes more noticeable. PSC motors have always made this sound , its inherent to how they work. See notes.

Upon arrival did not see any oil around valve or refrigerant locking caps. Checked service valve and appalled soap leak reactant and ultrasonic leak detector. No leaks detected. Valve is properly open and fully seated. Had system running after and checked again with high pressure at condenser side and still no leaks. Put back service valve brass cap. Checked schrader cores and no leaks. Homeowner says system is cooling great and sounding normal now.

Replaced compressor under parts and labor warranty. Pressure tested after brazing. Pulled deep vacuum under 300 microns. Vacuum decay test passed. Added back factory charge of r454b refrigerant. Balanced charge and tested system. Recorded system in startup when noise happens. System is sounding normal now, cooling properly with correct refrigerant numbers and amp draw.

Replaced EEV stepper motor and EVC board. After repair I tested system and system came on and pressures got to specs and stabilized, previously the low side kept dropping, well below 30°vsat. Now stabilizing around 50°. Then checked and have non-critical alert for 161 at 1050, and E5.1 at EVC for evaporator temperature sensor fault. Checked voltage and getting proper reading for gas temp sensor of 2.1vdc, which is on suction line, other sensor, evap sensor (orange) was at 5.0vdc which isn’t on the schematic chart.

Found 2014 Carrier furnace with a seized blower motor , 7.5uf cap was still within range. Blower motor wasn’t overheated. Informed homeowners if findings and that system was past average life expectancy of 10-15 years in our area and out of warranty. Based on all that I informed that system replacement is the other option and would have all new warranties and higher efficiency. Homeowners went with blower motor replacement repair option. Original motor had built in mount. Replaced blower motor and capacitor. Tested system after. System refrigerant charge is good, 22° temperature split. 2-year warranty.

Homeowner stated indoor FAU would be really loud and wanted this system for its quietness. Checked current alerts and last 6 faults and both were clear/no faults. Also they were given indoor sensors due to some rooms being warmer (living room /entry room). Back rooms have mini splits. For noise there is no issue with blower motor, filter is clean. Adjusted fan speed down to next option and checked airflow at registers and supply temperatures. Getting good velocity even in warm room and same supply temp of 58° as in the colder rooms. I did find that the room sensor was located in the airflow path of the supply register so it’s being hit with cold 58° air and if sensor is reading colder than the setpoint the system will stop once the thermostat area has reached setpoint temp. And since room is central and has large windows and may be warmer than kitchen/dining area which is right by fau closet, it would be warmer normally without ducting adjustment/zoning.
