Performed indoor unit and heating maintenance on Lennox 80% gas furnace in hallway attic. Replaced 20x30 14x14 ceiling filters. Cleaned off dusty attic platform. Cleaned our dust from burner compartment. Cleaned off all dust from furnace area. Honeywell 6000 thermostat working properly. Sequence of operations was performed properly. Checked all heating, safety, and electrical components, all working properly. Removed attic insulation, and the black inner duct lining pieces from living room supply vents by back sliding door. No leaks found at return ducts, they had a rat issue but roof was sealed where they came in and traps around furnace area. Informed homeowner if debris returns to let us know and we can try to deep dive to locate and fix issue , ducts have lots of up insulation and it’s furthest ducts from unit.

Performed heating maintenance on all systems, home and casita. Cleared condensation drains. Checked 1050 and venstar thermostats, replaced batteries for room sensor, cleared reminders, all working. Installed new compressor with Thor. Pulled vacuum . Added back charge and tested system. System cooling properly now, 20° split. All covered under hassle free extended labor warranty.

Performed heating maintenance on Bosch package unit heat pump on roof (access in backyard neighbor patio, extension ladder). Ecobee thermostat working properly. Homeowner just changed 20x30 lower wall filter , offered spare but he says he’s got plenty. Cleared copper condensation drain on roof , moved over wood mounts 1” to terminate condensation into rain drains/Gutter. Cleaned off any dust/debris from main circuit board panel compartment, and compressor and compressor circuit board compartment. Wiring right and secure, no faults or alerts in history. Due to ambient temperature of 85° Bosch heat pump could not run in heat mode as protection because to do so on a heat pump is not good for the equipment. Ran in cooling and checked compressor amps and fan motor amps. 22° temperature split. All components are working properly to manufacture specifications. Replaced blower motor and new motor not working. Did not have enough time to re-diagnose. Will coordinate with homeowners and office to return to retest. Was getting proper voltages from, board and through harness. Difficult to get new motor fit in properly. Performed indoor unit and heating maintenance on Lennox has furnace and heat pump air handler, both in laundry room attic. Replaced (3) ceiling filters (20x30, 14x24, 16x30). Ecobee and Honeywell 6000 thermostats working properly. Cleared off dust, insulation and debris from attic platform. Blew out dust and debris from burner and electrical compartments, and Goliath water pans. Smelled some natural gas by older Lennox gas furnace gas sediment trap per code, tightened 3” gas pipe nipple that connects to bottom cap. Tested after and no more leakage. Upon arrival in attic , Lennox gas furnace main panel was off laying on platform. Found blower/circuit board area panel screwed in backwards so the flanges were backwards and couldn’t mount main panel. Flipped around and connected properly so both panels are now attached securely. Called number they wanted me to use as primary ending 2168. Part was located and shipping from Culver City, so should have it at our warehouse Friday 10/16 and he said latest Monday (10/19) barring any weird issue but looking like Friday. Will call again to Rey and speak directly with homeowner. Will have office hold spot.

Unit. #302F , thermostat by garage door/kitchen. Same 4 flashes for suction temp sensor, traced entire wiring and found it partly damaged where it fits through electrical panel to true suction area of condenser. Fixed with fresh stripped cuts and gray wire nuts. Could not find any issue with reversing valve , appears that the outdoor eev may have gotten stuck, performed the open and close test on eev board pins, could feel it fully open and close and numbers were good, no temp difference issues across true suction through reversing valve so doesn’t appear to have any internal leaking or stuck. Now getting 120° supply temp, other bedroom unit was off and got house up to 85° on both thermostats indoor temp. Recommended to pick her temp and just leave it, she prefers 78° in heating as she prefers it warm and always had it like that. No flashes on red led anymore. No short cycling or temperature issues.

1050 thermostat by kitchen wasn’t online or connected to app, rebooted and network was 2 yellow bars but on other 1050 by master bedroom was fulll green bars and showed connected to smart home. She also stated temperatures for master bedroom and bathroom felt off. I changed and added 1050 thermostats to room sensors and have them values at 50% with room sensors, temperature on display matches Temperature in room better now . Was able to have both thermostats on app and connected to network , may be a router issue or 2.4hz 5hz cause one has yellow network signal the other all green. May either be a router issue, or what router hz is and may need tech support to see if they are able to see what network hz it is and if needed to change, if all else then may start by replacing the room sensors, and very last the kitchen area 1050, but it is all working exactly as it should when finished it’s disfnostic.
