Replaced Ferrite harness. Rebooted power and system and system cleared codes and ramping up to 100% displaying 30 for high speed and no fault. . Covered under parts and labor and up and cooling properly now.

Upon arrival system was on and cooling client stated it got 87 in home then turned system off . Checked capacitor pressures in range checked amps on compressor are high reading 15 max is 16 system could be over heating due to age of system advised condenser stop working leave system on to diagnose problem also recommend replacement due to age of system sent estimates

Called and spoke with client blower housing will need to be ordered from Goodman Texas and will take 1 to 2 weeks to arrive. Also, we will be changing circuit board that was damaged when removing blower housing.

Upon arrival, found the indoor unit operating while the outdoor condensing unit was not. Performed diagnostic testing and found the condenser fan motor and compressor were not operating due to a failed 45/5 µF dual run capacitor. Replaced the failed capacitor, restored power, and verified proper operation of the condenser fan motor and compressor. Monitored system operation, verified compressor and fan motor amperage were within manufacturer specifications, and confirmed the equipment is cooling and operating properly at this time

with everything included: Responded to member’s concern of a loud helicopter-like noise coming from the attic. Upon arrival, verified system operation and attempted to duplicate the reported noise. Inspected return air filters and verified they were clean. Removed the blower compartment door and operated the blower to isolate the blower assembly from the duct system. Verified the blower wheel was secure, free of debris, properly balanced, and operating normally with no abnormal vibration or noise. Tightened all accessible screws on the blower assembly and cabinet to eliminate the possibility of loose hardware causing vibration. Performed a thorough inspection of the attic furnace, supply plenum, return box, ductwork, and surrounding components. Verified no compression, decompression, loose ductwork, or abnormal movement while the system cycled on and off. Noted a piece of cardboard placed between the blower cabinet and lower cabinet wall, appearing to have been installed previously in
