I called Hyde’s looking for a quote to replace an ancient package unit. They were able to send a technician (owner) within the hour and after an honest discussion, we agreed on a unit and thought the price was fair. The unexpected and unbelievable part is that Hyde’s was able to install the unit the NEXT morning, before our family came home fore the weekend with temperatures expected to be in the 100s. The day of the installation, the technicians arrived on time and within several hours had the old unit off the roof (with a crane) and the new one installed and connected to our thermostat. Throughout the process, everyone at the office and in the field was more than professional and very friendly. Communication was on point too. Hyde’s truly saved the day and I would highly recommend them for all your HVAC needs.

I found a gas leak by the gas valve and I took a picture and sent it to Barry I took the gas pipe apart and got new fittings and reconnected the gas pipes and tested
Performed a semi annual cooling service on two split system Refrigerant checked out OK Electrical checked out OK Compressor checked out OK Condensing fan motor checked out OK Contactor checked out OK Capacitor checked out OK Thermostat checked out OK Cleared condensation lines with CO2 Rinsed condensing unit out with H2O Changed the filters located within the Dwelling
I found that the compressor is running at (36) amps and the rated running amps is (25) I advise client about the system
I found that the dual run capacitor was exploded and I replaced the capacitor and tested on the garage hanger
Upon arrival I found system cooling but having trouble keeping up with the heat load. Check refrigerant levels, superheat, and sub cool. Clean condenser coil and removed filter. Also insulated suction line. System now has proper superheat and is cooling properly.
Installed a 4 ton Gold 17 Upflow Split System that serves the bedrooms.
Maintenance on 2 cooling systems. Tested equipment and found everything running properly and within limits. Left filters for homeowner, washed condenser coils and cleared condensation lines.
I found that the t.x.v is restricting at the evap-coil and I pump down the Freon and changed out the t.x.v and tested

Comfort ac service on 2006 amana split system. Fau located inside closet. Cleared lines, washed coils and left filter. Checked all ac components, freon levels, volts, amps, capacitors, hard start kit and temperature split. Client has history of added freon in the past. There is a freon leak. Added 3.5 pounds of freon. Advised on age and type of freon. Advised client if system makes it though the summer we should find and take care of the leak issue in the winter time.
Installing wireless module at condenser with new 8000 thermostat.
Homeowner advised that furnace was leaking water at some point and possibly coil was icing up. Filter had just being replaced so I checked refrigerant pressures. Found unit low on refrigerant and added 2 pounds of R-22 and tested, unit running properly at this time.
Upon arrival I found that everything checked out good and the temperature is coming out at at (50) degrees I will follow up with Barry

I found that the evap coil is very dirty and needs to be cleaned. I also found that the reversing valve is stuck open allowing freon to flow through both side and it needs to be replaced and I advise client about the system

I performed a maintenance on (1) cooling systems and I found that everything checked out good. Then I cleaned out (1) filters located on the ground
I found that the system serving the bedrooms only has (2)14x14 returns and it is not pulling enough air to cool and I advise client to add a return to the master bedroom
