Excellent, prompt service
Upon arrival I spoke with homeowner about reason for call. Spoke with and met neighbor who documented noise he heard. He said there were no sparking per call debrief. Cycled system and checked all voltages , amps. And refrigerant charge. Let run and stabilize to make sure nothing is changing constantly causing any oscillating or vibrational noise . Made sure all electrical connections and wire nuts were tight and secure. Went and made sure all screws on condenser panel were right. Txv bulb is secure and insulated. Neighbor asked about missing screws on top, I informed those are for a fan shield guard which this system doesn’t have or may have broken or gotten noisy and was removed one day , but we didn’t do that. It that’s not causing any noise isssue. Informed homeowner and neighbor system is working properly and no noise issues that could mean any issue with system. Polite and professional
Performed county inspection and maintenance. Two 12 x 30 filter filters located in lower wall. Cleared all electrical components of dust and debris, verified proper sequence of operation, checked volts and amps, verified no current/past error codes at thermostat verified refrigerant levels and took temperature splits and cycled equipment. Verified proper fuse/breaker for equipment, washed condensing coil and cleared line. System is within manufacturers specifications and cooling and operating properly at this time of service.
Install two complete systems. Relocate outdoor equipment condensers. Run new refrigerant line sets. Run new high voltage electrical circuits. Install condensation drain pumps. Warranties: -One-year Hyde’s Family Comfort Plan. Includes up to 2 preventative maintenance visits within 2 year of install completion date. -Parts warranty 10 years except thermostat & accessories which are 5 years. Parts warranties are through the manufacturer, not Hyde’s AC. -Compressor warranty 10 years. Warranty is through the manufacturer, not Hyde’s AC. -Labor warranty 2 years. Option to purchase an extended warranty after original warranty period (up to 9 additional years). -24-Hour Service- If you have a problem during the first 2-year labor warranty period, Hyde's will provide service within 24 hours.
Today’s annual cooling preventative maintenance consisted of two separate units one American standard 2021 system and a Goodman unit, consisting of two ecobee thermostats. I ensure that both systems are calling for cooling efficiently with no errors to these units. I then also ensure that both filters in the home the 20 x 30 and 20 x 25 filters have been replaced to ensure that proper airflow is able to circulate back to the units at minimal resistance. I then cleared the condensation line to ensure that it is properly draining at this time of service. All of the cooling sequence of operations have successfully checked out for each system verifying that there is a proper 20° split coming from the liquid line in the suction line on both the Goodwin and the American Standard system. The amps on each system are simply testing now verifying a controlled voltage is being used throughout the units. The capacitor on the Goodman is testing out correctly in its rated range but the capacitor on
Client has home warranty and they do not replace line sets. Leak non detected recommend isolation test for guaranteed outcome. Equipment in very poor condition well past life expectancy and advised may have additional problems. Recommend replacing equipment with new lineset and convert to new refrigerant systems. Attached estimates below also emailed.
Called client no one was home client informed me system is working and forgot to call and cancel service

Performed a cooling maintenance on a 2 2024 American Standard Platinum series condenser, condenser located on right side of home, filter located hallway ceiling, fau located in attic, changed filter, flushed condensation line, on condenser check for amperage and voltage, check for compressor, check for freon level, check if thermostat had no error codes or alerts, everything within range , clear out dust accumulated inside electrical component area and rinsed condenser coil. System is working within specification in cooling at the time of maintenance.
Upon arrival client stated casita mini split not cooling as well as it use to. Found blower wheel very dirty. Advised client on blower cleaning with bib kit or pulling the wheel out. Client to use compressed air and vacuum. Advised if that didn’t work enough to let us know and will quote.

System is working within specification in cooling at the time of maintenance.

Excellent Service
My 25 year old AC needed a new motor and replace the cracked fan blades, James came out and explain the old unit should be replaced, that would entail a new AC and replace house furnace system because it isn’t compatible with the new Freon but he didn’t try to upsell. He explained we can replace the motor and fan blades so this unit be up and running. I chose to roll the dice and just replace the motor and fan blades now the unit is working just fine.
