I called Hydes because I have a maintenance contract with them. I've used them in the past and was very satisfied with their personnel and service. The maintenance contract allows for twice a year visits to check my AC and heating systems. They change the air filters and are good about communications and staff professionalism. Jonathan was very professional and friendly & explained the current condition of our systems & made a recommendation for a new system, if we desired.

I was really happy with the Casey, the technician that came by....He was very thorough explained what he was going to do. We talked about a variety of options to improve my air conditioning needs. I am familiar with air conditioning and he treated me with respect and filled in the holes of my knowledge where I needed it. I would definitely recommend hyde's air conditioning to anyone.So it's been a month since Casey's come out for first time and this time we were fearing the worst?Was there was something more wrong?As it turns out our compressor was just overheated need to be cooled off and restarted.I want to thank Hyde's A/C Casey for doing the right thing and making us Believers in Hyde's A/C company.My air conditioning system is 3 years old now and I couldn't be more happy to be working just fine with basic maintenanceHyde's came out this time for regular maintenance but a couple of days ago, We had a power outage and when the power came on couple of my electronic components were blown out so, I opted to get the power surge protection so, my air conditioning system isn't damaged. I couldn't be more happier with Hyde's air conditioning systems.I have regular maintenance done every 6 months one for winter one for summer This time Chris Coia came out and did my winter service. As always Hyde's air conditioning is always professional, on time, clean and transparent. You couldn't ask for a better air conditioning company.

Michael explained our various options and was able to schedule the install to fit our tight schedule. Thor did an excellent job in doing the seasonal checkup of ourheating system. He was on time, explained everything he was planning to check during the visit. When finished he gave a concise summary of the status of the system and answered any questions. He is an experienced professional and also very friendly.

Ok, I'm different than most - I like to write a review after I have 'settled in' with a product or service, which I think gives a more balanced, trustworthy, and valuable review.I enjoyed the Hydes experience from the beginning, and I still enjoy them and the American Standard variable speed heat pump HVAC system.Hydes is 'old school' in the best possible terms....they answer the phone, they schedule service and show up, and are cheerful and seem to be a happy group, which is nice to see. They are like a family, and they treat me like family as well. It feels welcoming and real, not fake or grandstanding in any way.I have been more comfortable this past summer with my new system, and I have saved money since I had an old A/C unit that was 24 years old! It would not die, it was a loyal system, but it was just too inefficient with electric prices being what they are here in CA.Bottom line, I found this company, and I was glad I did, and I certainly recommend them to others!
