Maintenance for heat on a 2022 American Standard platinum heat pump system FAU located in the master bedroom closet attic. Condensation lines cleared filters changed 16 x 25 x 5 filter checks out doesn’t need to be replaced until June. Recommended customer to order new filter. 1050 thermostat checks out no active alerts checked outside unit checked compressor amps checked Freon and pressure checked fuses washed outside unit, system is working per manufacture specification. Home heating properly.

Prepare newly installed system for final inspection. Check both outdoor and indoor unit as well as breakers. Upon checking breakers found outdoor breakers not the correct size to pass inspection. Had to increase breaker size from a 30 to 50 see pictures after doing so system is now ready for final inspection.

Performed a heating maintenance on a split heat pump unit. Washed and cleaned the bottom of outdoor unit, per client request. Also washed condenser coil and cleared condensate drain line. Checked dual run capacitor and compressor starting amperage. Lowered compressor starting amperage by installing hard start kit. Client paid via C C. Checked refrigerant circuit diagnostic with temperature delta T. Cycled system in heating. System is functioning according to manufacturer specifications.

Prepared unit for final inspection at this time system is ready for final inspection. All is within range.

Today’s annual maintenance consisted of one Goodman furnace located in the attic access. I first began with replacing the one filter in the home to ensure proper airflow is circulating back to the system at minimum resistance, making sure there is little to no resistance on the system. return ensures that the unit is not overworking itself and then make sure that the Honeywell thermostat is properly calling for heat and turning the unit on. All of the heating sequence of operations successfully checked out on the unit and showing that the home is being warm to the desired temperature. The amps on the system are checking out in the correct range verifying there is a controlled voltage being used throughout the unit. The temperature supply is also in the correct range, ensuring that the home is being warmed efficiently to the desired temperature.
