🛠️🛠️ On arrival, Client informed me that compressor was making a loud noise and system had stopped cooling Set thermostat to cool indoor blower kick on went to outdoor condenser for further investigation. Everything appeared to be working. With further investigation found weak run capacitor Also condenser fan motor starting to stick and making a humming noise on startup Spoke with client on findings recommend replacing condenser fan motor and capacitor Client approved ✅✅ System is cooling properly at this time
🛠️ Demand Service – System Operational Issue Upon arrival, client informed me that once the thermostat reached the desired temperature, the blower motor would continue running continuously until the thermostat was switched to the OFF position. Once switched off, the blower motor would shut down properly. Performed diagnostic testing by bypassing the thermostat and verifying system operation. Tested control board functionality and confirmed the circuit board was properly receiving and delivering 24 volts. Inspected thermostat wiring to ensure there were no shorts, crossed wires, or wiring making contact where it should not. After completing all testing procedures, it was determined that the thermostat was defective. Installed new thermostat and tested full system operation. System is now cycling on and off properly and operating within normal parameters. ✅ 📱 Unable to pair thermostat to client’s mobile device at this time due to client being unable to download the Resideo app.

Upon arrival client stated system not cooling as well. Found system iced up to the compressor. Advised client we have to turn the system off till 6 tonight (7 hour defrost). Found really dirty filters. Advised client issue could just be the filter. After we turned the system off I found the condenser still running. Found contractor stuck closed due to dust. System is very dusty. Blew out dust from contactor and tested contactor multiple times. Advised client issue was most likely due to dirty filters and unit not turning off. Advised I will call at 6 to see if I will need to return. Advised on contactor replacement as well.

Performed a cooling maintenance on a 2013 XR split system unit. Check sequence of operations by checking out all electrical and refrigeration levels. At this time system is cooling down the house properly and within manufacturer specifications run capacitor rated for 45 was getting 45 at this time. Refrigeration levels are right on point tested out water pumps, and hallway closet as well as changed out filter. Today’s annual cooling preventative maintenance consisted of one TRANE package unit at first began with replacing the 20 x 30 filter in the home to ensure that proper airflow is able to circulate back to the system at minimal resistance. I then ensure that the thermostat is properly calling for cooling and turning the system on with no errors. All of the cooling sequence of operations are successfully checking out on the unit verifying there’s a proper 20° split and that the home is being called efficiently to the desired temperature. I ensure that the condensation line is in fact draining off the roof to the designated area properly. The capacitor for the blower motor are safely checking out in the correct range, verifying a controlled voltage is being used safely falling with the amps also safely testing out in the correct range as well. Check sequence of operations by checking out all electrical and refrigeration levels also cleaned out compensation lines with CO2 tank as well as cleaned out electrical compartment on condenser units at this time. All three units are cooling down the area properly reaching temperatures of 75° finish maintenance by changing out filters throughout building as well as by making sure thermostats are operating properly.

Arrived to remove the existing ceiling fan and replace it with a customer-supplied ceiling fan. Upon arrival, the customer informed me that she wished to retain the current ceiling fan and that the issue was with her wall-mounted fan remote, which was malfunctioning. I tested the remote and confirmed it was not functioning properly. I provided continuous power to the ceiling fan to verify its operation but was not receiving power at the fan's circuit connection. I tested for electrical continuity and confirmed there was no continuity on either end of the circuit. Using a tone generator, I identified where the tones from both ends of the wiring circuit ended. I inquired if the customer had recently undergone any remodeling work; she noted that she had recently experienced water damage in her ceiling due to a damaged sprinkler. A repair company had cut into the drywall to fix the sprinkler in the area where the wiring tone terminated. Based on these observations, I concluded that the
