Your air conditioner should be serviced twice a year in the fall and spring. This is done to verify that it is clean, parts are in good condition and it's running as efficiently as possible.
Check your thermostat settings first for any problems. It’s possible that someone modified the thermostat’s temperature or fan settings. Make sure it is set to “cool” rather than “fan.” If all of your settings appear to be accurate but you’re still having issues, you should move on to checking your air filters.
Your air conditioner may not be cooling because of a clogged air filter. Locate and visually examine your air filter. If you see a significant quantity of dirt or particles, replace your air filter. A normal 1-inch air filter should be replaced once a month. Changing the air filter not only provides cleaner air, but also appropriate air movement in your AC system. If your air filter becomes clogged, it might be the cause of your AC not cooling your house.
Finally, check the outdoor condenser unit. The coils on the external condenser aid in the removal of heat from the device. If the exterior coils become clogged, they will be unable to adequately discharge heat and your home will have more warm air. To inspect exterior coils, simply walk outside and look at the condenser. Clean out any overgrown bushes or rubbish surrounding it.

Job Locations and Reviews
After returning living room system was set to 71 reading 75. Well check the condenser system had a three flash code short cycle, compressor is locked out after 10 consecutive short cycling events. Possible issue condenser fan stopped operating. Got system up and running and checked compressor amps and condenser fan amps. Condenser fan amps are rated for one amp and measuring at .98. Explain to client that if system continues to trip, we will need to install new condenser fan motor. Emailed estimate.
Performed annual heating maintenance on 2005 York model furnace. Upon arrival, client reported a very noisy blower motor. Inspected and verified all blower mounting bolts were secure. Discussed with client the option of lowering blower motor speed; advised that reducing speed could pose risks to system operation. Client chose not to proceed with blower speed adjustments due to system age and acceptable operation. Performed full system inspection and followed sequence of operation. Verified proper flame ignition. Checked blower motor operation and speeds. Inspected all safety switches. Tested capacitor and confirmed it remains within rated range. Door switch interruption caused thermostat to reset; thermostat was required to be re-registered to the mobile app. Followed manufacturer procedures and successfully restored app connectivity. Client confirmed mobile app is operational. System is heating properly and operating within normal parameters at the time of service.
Knowledgeable, friendly, efficient
Performed annual heating maintenance on two 2013 lennox split systems. Changed out 20x25 and 20x30 air filters. One upflow furnace located in the hallway closet and one horizontal furnace located in the attic closet. Followed the sequence of operations, checking flame ignition, rollout switches, inducer motor, and blower motor. No alerts found on either system; sequence of operations operating properly. Cleared condensation line and tested the condensate pump by draining water to verify proper operation. Both Honeywell thermostats were checked and confirmed operational, maintaining desired temperatures. Performed maintenance on mini-split filters and coils. All systems checked in range and are operating properly at this time of service.
Upon arrival, turned all four systems on to cool and only the Casita unit would operate with further inspection. I discovered master bedroom, living room and guest bedroom systems all needed new dual run capacitors. Installed two new 45/5 MFD capacitors and 140/5 MFD capacitor. Also checked refrigerant levels. All four systems are now operating and cooling properly. Also signed client on annual comfort club.

Everything checked out in range. Honeywell thermostat checked out operational. System is working properly in heating at this time of service.

The service involved the installation of a 1-ton, 18 SEER AS ductless mini-split system specifically for the casita. They have fixed the problem. Currently, they set both nighttime and daytime temperatures on "auto". I will try this approach for a few days to see how it works.
