Checked both systems in cool mode and both units operate as designed. Also checked system in charge mode and both systems are ramping up to higher speeds. Systems are operating properly.
Upon arrival was calling for cool, but had error code 126 not communicating with the outdoor unit/equipment change. Remove removed all wire connectors and connected wires back together using wire nut. Also used new thermostat wire running from air handler to condensing unit and abandoned previous thermostat wire. System is now operating in cool without any error codes.

Homeowner stated when she tries to turn heat again , she heard 3 bangs or sound of motor trying to start around return in hallway, which corresponds to same unit we’ve been working on. Cycled at thermostat 3x to completion of sequence. No issue or sounds each time. Recommended recording the sound if she hears it . Temp got up to 77° from 74 no issue. I let her know if truly intermittent we may never catch it in the process while there for diagnostic and can be very expensive doing multiple advanced diagnostics and may not always be able to get tech out when it happens. Can be like chasing a ghost. Very old furnace and we can credit if she wants to replace furnace. I told her to record it if it happens tonight and I’ll call tomorrow morning but did not see anything at all this visit or previous.
Performing a maintenance heating for American Standard platinum 2024 heat pump. condensation line cleared, filter changed, FAU working per specification, outside unit working per manufactured specification. Checked Freon levels and pressure check compressor amps. Washed outside unit down. Home is heating proper

Executed a heating maintenance on two split heat pumps. Replaced filters and cleared condensate drain line. Cycled both systems in heating measuring temperature heat rise. Completed static pressure measurement form. Documented blower motor amp draw. Both systems are functioning according to manufacture specifications.
Performed a heating maintenance on a horizontal, gas furnace and platinum POV. Gas furnace executed the sequence of operation in heating with no carbon monoxide detected in the home. Replaced filters. Checked static pressure and blower motor amp draw. Upon arrival, found thermostat for gas furnace to be unresponsive. Client opted to have thermostat replaced. Thermostat is functioning properly upon installation. Client paid via C. C. Both systems are functioning according to manufacturers recommendations.
Tested Goodman furnace for 20+ minutes and all temperature and electrical readings were within manufacture specs, I referred to manual with equipment. Flame sensor needs to be between 1-6 and reading 3.6. Supply temps and limit temps all well under max allowable temps. Homeowner stated sometimes she’ll increase temp from 69° to 70° and waits for it to turn on then shuts off and when she checks the Honeywell 6000 the indoor temp already reached setpoint. Thermostat want on hold or temporary hold. Informed to always us hold so no schedule issues where system changes temp on schedule which is different than what she’s wanting it set to. Recommended always keeping on HOLD and when raising temp to go up 2 degrees to allow it to fully go through sequence and not shut off by reaching temp as they don’t display decimals and could be halfway to setpoint.
Heating service on American Standard platinum split POV system. Changed it out 20 x 25 filter located in filter rack, air handler is located in hallway closet, verified proper operation for water safety switch, cleared condensation line at air handler. Cleared all electrical components of dust and debris, verified proper sequence of operation, thermostat checked out OK, washed condensing coil. System is within manufacturers specifications, and heating and operating properly at this time of service. Set spring maintenance appointment with member on site for July 16th between 9 AM – 11 AM
Performed a final inspection for county on newly installed unit. At this time all is within range.
Maintenance on two American Standard gas furnaces located in hallway closet. Check sequence of operations by checking out all electrical temperature rise. At this time, both systems are heating up the house properly reaching designated temperature on thermostat. Make sure water pump is working properly as well as washed out washable filters. Finish maintenance by cleaning off burners also scheduled next maintenance as requested by client.
