Arrived at customer’s home to diagnose hvac unit non op. Upon arrival I found that breaker for unit was in the tripped position. Removed fuses from disconnect and reset breaker to test wiring/breaker. Found that breaker stayed reset in this situation and held connection. This tells me that wiring/breaker are good up to the condenser. Also noticed visible charring in disconnect box where fuses were. Recommend replacing disconnect box as it is fpe. This will help us determine if there is a further issue with condenser unit for repair.

Performed a cooling maintenance on a 2024 American Standard Platinum series condenser and a 2019 gold condenser, condenser located on left and right side of home, filter located inside fau, fau located in attic, changed filter, flushed condensation line, on condenser check for amperage and voltage, check for compressor, check for freon level, check if thermostat had no error codes or alerts, everything within range , clear out dust accumulated inside electrical component area and rinsed condenser coil. System is working within specification in cooling at the time of maintenance. .
Installed new gas valve and test system . System is now operating properly.

Upon arrival, indoor unit blowing warm air. With further investigation found outdoor unit not running was able to find a failed run capacitor after replacing run capacitor system started up and started to cool down the house properly gave a complementary filter change out system at this time is now cooling down the house properly.
Putting job on hold for now due to system being completely iced up from evaporator coil all the way to compressor. after returning charge system with 1 pound of refrigerant, but system is showing signs of a restriction. We will need to return during business hours and change TXV located inside attic.

Upon arrival, found bedroom unit SER#2086 calling for cool but only blower motor and condenser fan motor operating. With further inspection I discovered system had a faulty capacitor. Installed new 55MFD capacitor and checked supply registered temperature. System is now operating and cooling properly

Today’s an annual cooling maintenance consist of one day and night unit. I first begin with replacing the 20 x 25 filter located in a close system of the garage. I then cleared the condensation line to ensure that proper drainage is occurring on the system. The Honeywell thermostat is properly calling for cooling and turning the unit on with no errors. The amps on the system are safely, checking out, ensuring there’s a control voltage being used throughout the system, following with the capacitor safely, checking out and its correct range. The. .
