Upon arrival, turn thermostat to cool but only blower motor would operate. With further inspection, I discovered system had a blown high voltage fuse at disconnect box. Install new fuse and checked amps on compressor and condenser fan motor. Also checked all wires and insured they were tight and secure making proper contact.

After Diagnostic found system was low on Freon added 4 pounds of 410@ system is up and cooling we will monitor Freon levels

Today’s cooling maintenance consisted of one American standard unit located on the side of home. Thermostat is properly calling for cooling with no alerts. Filters have been replaced for proper airflow to circulate. All of the cooling sequence of operations are successfully checking out. Ensuring that the pressures are testing out in the correct range. Capacitor is testing out and new heart kit is also testing out safely. Condensation line is cleared and properly draining. Overall system is operating to manufacture specs and I thoroughly washed down the coils of the system as well.

Upon arrival, clients thermostat had an alert for the filters to be washed. I thoroughly washed out the filters in the attic while I was in the attic. I also checked to make sure that the dampers are opening properly, providing cooling to the designated areas after going all the way to the back of the attic, I came across a disconnected duct, and I reinforced it after reinforcing that duct the air was properly distributing into the kitchen and significantly dropping temperature on my thermometer. Only the issue with the zoning thermostats was not resolved because thermostat needs to be replaced. I included a photo of the serial number for the thermostats because they were reading 80 in the home but my thermometer was reading 75 and dropping. Home is calling thermostats are just not reading correctly, and they are not the type of thermostats that can be calibrated through Settings. I already tried that as well. So client will proceed with replacing the thermostat.

Upon arrival, client advised of blower motor noise. Checked system amperages at outdoor unit and at furnace blower motor and found all system vitals within manufactures specifications and did not hear any unusual noises. Advised client on replacing the blower motor preventively or waiting til something happens. System is 8 years old. Furnace blower is reading 9 amps and overall system amperage is 14 amps. Thermostat is reading 79 degrees and we’re reading 79 degrees. Verified system is draining properly. At the time of today’s service call system is cooling properly. Scheduled fall service maintenance visit.
