E17, tested blower and got it running, but board is issue. Harness should be replaced as well. Will return tomorrow (10/3) to replace and coordinate with homeowner as they both work. Covered under parts and labor. 10/3 9:00 am I returned and replaced oem ECM blower motor, board was good, this was intermittent issue for E17. Tested system after and blower motor is running properly with calls for cooling, fan etc.

Upon arrival found that fuse was blown again. After further investigation, determine that pre-existing thermostat wire that we did not install was shorted out and causing the fuse to keep popping. After I remove the thermostat wire fuse stop popping inform Client we can install a wireless module for thermostat or we can rerun thermostat wire. Client went with module after installing module and splicing wire together. System at this time is cooling down the house properly cycle the system a couple times will be returning to replace circuit board for outdoor unit.

Maintenance and Safety Check – 2024 American Standard Platinum Split System Performed maintenance and safety check on 2024 American Standard Platinum split system. Indoor equipment is located in attic access near the primary bedroom closet. During maintenance, member expressed concerns regarding increased humidity inside the home and reduced cooling comfort. Inspected and tested equipment and verified system operation. Refrigerant charge was checked and system was operating within manufacturer specifications with approximately 12°F subcooling. Inspected attic ductwork and found areas with deteriorated/separating vapor barrier and insufficient insulation coverage. Discussed with member that heat transfer from the attic, along with possible moisture/humidity infiltration through compromised ductwork, can contribute to increased indoor humidity, reduced comfort, and loss of cooling efficiency. Performed annual maintenance and operational inspection on 2015 Rheem split-system. • Replaced 20” x 25” air filter. • Checked Honeywell thermostat operation and temperature range. • Inspected and tested gas valve, flame sensor, igniter, and blower motor capacitor. • Inspected ductwork and verified there were no collapsed or restricted sections. • Inspected and cleared the combustion/condensate venting through the attic and from the exterior terminal. • Checked system operation and confirmed proper heating/cooling performance. • System is operating properly at this time.

Today’s safety maintenance check consisted of one American standard platinum unit located on the side of the home. I first begin with replacing all the filters in the home. The 1050 thermostat is properly calling for cooling with no alerts. System is efficiently calling for cooling and heating. Precious checked out at the condenser unit home was warming on heating as well. I cleared both condensation lines thoroughly. Rents down condenser. Overall system is operating to the manufacturer specs at this time of today’s service. Clients also received their October gift card

I Performed Maintenance on the Heating System. Also client replaced a 20x25 filter. The system is a 2019 American Standard Gas Electric Split System located in the garage. I also flushed the condensate drain. Inspected evaporator coil and blower motor compartment and both are clean. The system checked out operational and within manufactures specifications at the time of the service. Scheduled next maintenance visit online and gave client Starbucks card.

Today’s first annual three system safety check maintenance consisted of 1R 22 unit connected to the Casita and 2R 14 a system systems for the main home. Client replaced all the filters prior to arrival. Both thermostats in the main home are properly calling for cooling with no alerts following with the Honeywell thermostat in the Casita also turning the unit on calling for cooling. R22 casita unit had an out of range testing capacitor 35/5mf was testing at 28/4.7 the Hard start kit tested. Pressures checked out. System is cooling and operating properly at this time. I recommend to client to replace capacitor and he will wait on it since it’s not broken. Both 410a units capacitors checked out. Pressures checked. Amps on the systems also checked out. I cleared the condensation lines throughly with my co2 tank. And I washed the coils down on system to remove dirt.
