Performed annual maintenance on a 2014 Goodman 5-ton split system. Replaced the 20” x 30” air filter. Verified Honeywell VisionPRO 8000 thermostat operation and confirmed proper cooling temperature range. Completed a full operational check of the system. Checked refrigerant levels; system is within normal operating range. Measured compressor amperage and fan motor amperage; readings are within manufacturer specifications. Tested the run capacitor; capacitor is operating within specifications. Cleared and flushed the condensate drain line to ensure proper drainage. Washed and cleaned the outdoor condenser coil. The client mentioned that the two front rooms are the hot rooms compared to master bedroom. I highly recommend Danny Hyde from Hyde’s AC. Our A/C stopped cooling properly right in the middle of the desert heat, which is an absolute emergency out here. Danny came out first thing Monday morning (right after 4th of July!) to diagnose the issue. He was incredibly informative, took the time to explain exactly what was going on, and kept me completely abreast of the situation. Because a specific part was needed, he returned first thing the very next morning with a helper and the part in hand to complete the repair. It is hard to find that level of professionalism, clear communication, and prompt service in the valley. If you need honest, reliable HVAC service, ask for Danny.
