🛠️🛠️ Demand Service – No Cool Upon arrival, the client directed me to the thermostat, which was set to 78°F but reading 84°F indoors. The indoor blower was operating; however, airflow felt very humid. I proceeded to the outdoor condenser for further diagnostics. Found elevated evaporator temperature and high system pressures. Rinsed the condenser coil to reduce heat load and eliminate any airflow restrictions. Temperature split was only 10°F, indicating poor cooling performance and weak airflow. Inspected the attic and verified all manual dampers were fully open. Further investigation revealed a separation between the supply plenum and the evaporator coil, allowing conditioned air to escape into the attic. 🗣️ Client Communication Explained the findings to the client, who approved the necessary repairs. Installed and secured a custom sheet metal patch, then sealed the plenum connection along with additional air leaks to restore proper airflow and system efficiency. ✅ Results R

🛠️🛠️ Demand service No cool On arrival spoke over the phone with husband, husband only approved to add 1 pound of refrigerant on equipment Tech informed client system needs to be diagnosed in order to see if 1 pound of refrigerant would even benefit the system Arrived to the property thermostat on cool and set to 70° Indoor temperature 84° Went to outdoor equipment, micro channel condenser Added 1 pound and a half of R22 Also noticed condenser coil was dirty Performed semi annual cooling service Removed condenser top, rinse condenser from inside out Checked capacitor, fan motor, compressor, amps and voltage. Thermostat checked out OK, cleared condensation line from outside Replaced 20 x 30 filter and 14 x 14 filter ✅ System is cooling the best it can at this time 117° outdoor temperature, informed client it might take till after the sun goes down for system to catch up

Upon arrival, client stated that system would not reach desired temperature. Cleaned condenser coil and checked refrigerant levels. Refrigerant levels indicate a slight restriction in the system. Spoke with client about TXV and filter drier replacement. Emailed estimate Thermostat is set at 80° and reading 80°.

Client is gonna be put on schedule for technician to return and perform a leak check next week

Upon arrival thermostat had error code 126 condenser off-line after diagnostic found high voltage fuse, blown replaced fuse, tighten all high voltage wires, in panel as well unit is up and cooling

I Performed One Time Tune Up On Cooling System. Also client’s replaced own 20x30 and 20x20 filters. I flushed the condensate drain from the attic which terminates on right hand side of home by outdoor unit. The system is a 2012 model located in the master bedroom attic and outside on the ground. I found system outdoor unit very dirty. Recommended pulling panels off and pulling system apart to do a deep cleaning. Also found weak outdoor dual run capacitor as well weak indoor blower run capacitor. Client’s are putting home on the market and only wanted one time service. I pulled outdoor unit apart and cleaned condenser coils thoroughly with coil cleaner and cleaned out bottom of unit. I put system back together including all paneling. I then replaced outdoor dual run capacitor and indoor furnace blower capacitor and tested the system. I verified proper refrigerant charge and made sure schrader valves are tight and refrigerant caps are on tight. Also verified system start and run amperage

Upon arrival system for bedrooms was operating both indoor and outdoor unit. Both fan motor and compressor amps are within range. Upon checking refrigeration levels found system a little low on refrigerate recommend adding a pound of refrigerant to help. Bring sub cool back up to eight. Client agreed after adding 1 pound of refrigerant system at this time is cooling bedrooms properly was getting 64° coming out of supply vents.

Upon arrival system was on living area last 4 fau 1112 checked water safety switch was cleared no water in line tighten wires on board. Everything is working properly at this time. Advise if it happens again we’ll change out the thermostat for a living area.

🛠️🛠️ On arrival client informed me that his wife heard a noise coming from vents Went in the attic to further diagnose situation Opened air handler compartment to inspect a blower wheel, blower motor, and evaporator coil Cycle equipment multiple times after the 5th time a metal noise came from plenum Manual damper was loose and making a banging noise Unable to tighten nut ( stripped ) Please handle in open position and duct tape in place. ✅ No more noise Will inform office of attic access repair

Upon arrival, found the indoor blower motor operating intermittently, resulting in reduced airflow and poor cooling performance. Performed diagnostic testing of the blower motor and verified the blower wheel rotated freely and the blower capacitor tested within manufacturer specifications. Further inspection determined the blower motor had failed. Replaced the blower motor, cycled the system, and verified proper blower rotation, proper airflow, and normal equipment operation. Also found sections of the ductwork to be partially collapsed, restricting airflow. (Members are aware). Recommended replacement of the damaged ductwork, and estimates will be provided for replacement. System is operating properly and cooling within manufacturer specifications at this time
