Member also stated another HVAC company recently evaluated the system for the same concern and recommended VFD replacement. Performed diagnostic testing of the compressor circuit. Verified continuity through all three compressor harness conductors. Compressor winding resistance was checked and found balanced, and each compressor terminal was tested to ground with no continuity detected, indicating no evidence of an open or hard-grounded compressor winding during testing. Power was cycled and fault temporarily cleared. Equipment initiated operation and compressor briefly ran before the outdoor unit shut itself down and 81-58 returned. Verified proper incoming voltage and observed PCM/control board powered with communica
