Upon arrival client stated loud banging/knocking coming from FAU in the attic. Attic access located in hallway. Opened up large ducting supply from Plenum and found damaged damper which was causing the noise. Remove damper and secured supply ducting onto plenum. Cleaned up area as well. Spoke with client about possible issues what could have caused the damper to be damaged. System is working properly, all plenums are returning and supplying air.

I Performed Maintenance on the Cooling System. Also replaced a 14x30 filter. The system is a 2016 Goodman Package Unit located on the roof. I verified proper temperature split of 19 degrees indicating refrigerant levels are proper, as well as proper system amperages. Also verified dual run capacitor is within proper capacitance. I then cleaned condenser coils and verified proper cleanliness of evaporator coil. At the time of today’s service the system checked out operational. Scheduled next maintenance visit online.

Performed annual maintenance on a 2025 5-ton split system. * Replaced the 20” x 30” air filter. * Completed a full sequence of operation check. * Checked refrigerant pressures, compressor operation, condenser fan motor, and blower motor. All components are operating within normal range. * Tested the run capacitor. Rated at 45/7.5 µF and tested at 44/7.7 µF, which is within manufacturer specifications. * Verified all electrical components are receiving proper voltage and amperage. Cleared out condensation line in attic. * Compressor amperage is within manufacturer specifications. * Thoroughly washed and cleaned the outdoor condenser coil. * Advised the customer that the refrigerant charge is slightly below manufacturer specifications. Home is still at 57 supply temperature will monetize system. At this time, the system is operating properly.

Preformed leak search in attic. Checked refrigerant levels to start and found system low but hasn’t dropped to much. Checked outside condenser. Checked attic and opened evaporator coil. Used dg leak detector and found leak inside evaporator coil. Closed coil and added 1 pound of refrigerant to system. Advised client on leak in evaporator coil. Sent over replacement option for evaporator coil.

Arrived on location found two GFI‘s tripped reset GFI’s tested with meter found low voltage after further investigation found that it was the receptacles going bad that we still had 120 V coming in Recommend repair replaced the two GFCI receptacles put up to code bubble covers on them and test
