Job Locations and Reviews
Attempted to call 2x times again and no answer. Already left message with member informing him of questions regarding building wall around condenser.
Upon arrival, member stated the equipment has intermittently stopped cooling and would only resume operation after cycling power to the outdoor unit. Reviewed system fault history at the communicating thermostat and found repeated error codes 185.01 and 185.02, with a subsequent 184 hard lockout. Cleared stored fault history through the CDA and cycled equipment for testing. Verified equipment restarted and monitored operation through compressor ramp-up. Checked refrigerant pressures, superheat, and subcooling while equipment was operating. Verified indoor air filter is clean and performed a visual inspection of accessible ductwork with no obvious airflow restrictions noted. Accessed inverter control diagnostics and verified live operating data, including compressor demand, compressor speed, EEV position, outdoor fan operation, and compressor dome temperature. Performed factory diagnostic procedure by measuring compressor dome temperature sensor voltage between J1 pin 1 and J1 pin 10 at
Upon arrival I found system off. Turned system on and found condenser runs, but not furnace blower not running. Control Board is calling for signal. Tested motor and with motor tester and found motor still doesn’t come on. Will need to call Goodman in the morning.
Can't remember and gave you information in regards to building wall for condensing unit
Upon arrival, member stated the system was not keeping up with the current heat load. Performed a full diagnostic and verified refrigerant levels, finding the system approximately 1 lb low on R-410A. Added 1 lb of R-410A and verified refrigerant pressures and operating conditions were within manufacturer specifications after charging. Performed a complete electrical inspection of the equipment and verified all electrical components were operating properly and within acceptable ranges. Further inspection found the 16x25 air filter heavily congested, restricting airflow. Also found condensate overflowing into the secondary drain due to a restriction in the primary condensate drain. Cleared the primary drain from the exterior termination, installed a Jones valve to improve future maintenance access, and flushed the drain through the Jones valve to verify proper drainage. Confirmed the primary drain is now flowing properly with no further signs of overflow. Verified a 19°F temperature spli
He was prompt, personable and very professional.
Upon arrival found indoor and outdoor unit were operational. Phone system overcharge even after letting refrigerant go so cool is in good condition. Super heat is a little high, possibly a restriction in system after speaking with supervisor. Before sending an estimate would like to come back to residence to try one more test that way we can send the correct estimate and get part that needs to be replaced changed out. Called the homeowner and informed homeowner. Client did not answer at this time. We have office put back on route for tomorrow.
Upon arrival, client stated he has thermostat set at at 79° but will not go below 82. While check in refrigerant levels discovered system had higher superheat and suction line temperature. Adjust TXV bulb inside attic system system superheat drop 20° and Sabyan line temperature dropped 14°. Clients are gonna monitor systems cooling and if any issues call us back.
Equipment working on arrival. Performed diagnostic and tested operation. Compressor running in high amps Rla is 20.8 and unit is running at 20 amps. Compressor is designed to run at 16.64-no mor then 18 amps. Advised compressor is running though is running in high amps which causes compressor to over heat. Compressor will run again until it over heats then turn off to cool down. Advised if equipment continues to over amp compressor will eventually fail. Equipment is cooling at this time.
Upon arrival, the unit was making a knocking noise. We had previously installed a new condenser fan motor on July 7. Inspected the fan to determine if the blade was contacting any part of the unit, but found no interference. We then removed the fan blade to further inspect the motor and confirmed the issue is coming from the condenser fan motor itself. The motor is faulty and will need to be replaced under warranty.
I Performed Maintenance on both the Cooling Systems. Also replaced 2) 20x20 and 14x14 Filters and flushed both condensate drains. Both Cooling Systems are 2010 3 ton American Standard models located in the garage, hallway attic and outside on the ground. Verified both systems refrigerant levels are proper and within specifications. Both systems dual run capacitors are good. I advised client about replacing contactor and installing a new hard start kit for the Living Room Unit (S#X2H5F). Attached estimate for client to consider. I then cleaned Condenser coils. At the time of today’s service both Cooling systems are operational. Scheduled next Maintenance visit online.
Attic exhaust fan was noisy. Craig diagnosed the cause, installed noise dampening pads where fan was screwed to wooden rafters, and solved the problem quickly
