I Performed Maintenance on the Heating System. Also client replaced a 20x25 and 14x14 Filters. The system is a 2020 American Standard Heat Pump model located in the hallway attic and outside on the ground. I also flushed the condensate drain through the Jones Valve. I found that the dual run capacitor tested weak and out of manufactures specifications. Advised client about replacing the capacitor. Sent client estimate for it and client to advise. At the time of today’s maintenance visit the system checked out operational. Client to call when ready to schedule next Maintenance visit.

Upon arrival, turn bedroom unit #8990 on to cool but only blower motor condenser fan would operate compressor would not start. With further inspection discovered system had a faulty capacitor measuring zero MFD on Herm side. Install new capacitor and cycle system. System is now operating and cooling properly.
