Upon arrival, it was 99° inside House. Indoor unit was operational found outdoor unit compressor not turning on just the condenser fan motor. Upon further investigation found a failed run capacitor. Inform Client replace run capacitor and compressor turned on compressor amps are within range upon checking refrigeration levels found system a little low on refrigerant recommended adding 2 pounds to help with the hot summer heat. Client agreed as shown in pictures refrigeration levels are now closer to manufacturer specifications system at this time is cooling down the house. Before leaving house is at 97.

Perfeomed annual maintenance on 2023 5 ton American standard platinum series split system Replaced/checked air filter 20x30 * Inspected 1050 thermostat operation. * Verified thermostat displayed an active alert; reviewed system status and operation. * Performed complete operational check of the system. * Checked refrigerant (Freon) levels. * Measured compressor amperage; readings were within normal operating range. * Measured outdoor fan motor amperage; readings were within normal operating range. * Checked the outdoor unit for active fault codes or alerts; none were present. * Inspected condensate drain system. Upon arrival client stated system not cooling. Nest thermostat calling for cooling however outdoor unit not running. Found issue is intermittent nest issue where it says cooling however doesn’t give a y signal. Advised client they need new thermostat. Client stated senergy installed it for free three months ago and will call them.

Arrived at customer’s home to replace an exhaust fan in guest bathroom. Removed existing exhaust fan in guest bathroom and installed a new Hampton bay exhaust fan in its place. Upon removal of old fan I found that hole was over it for exhaust fan and insulation from the attic was falling through. New exhaust fan does not have a gap around edge of fan, so no insulation should fall moving forward. Landed all connections and tested fan to verify proper operation.
