Today’s cooling maintenance consisted of one unit located on the side of the home. I first began with replacing the 20 x 30 and 14 x 14 filter. I also ensure that the thermostat is properly calling for cooling and turning the unit on with no alerts. All of the cooling sequence of operations are successfully checking out. Pressures are testing in the correct range. Capacitor is also testing for its rated amount. I ensure that the condensation line is cleared and properly draining. And the amps on the blower fan are testing. I’ll safely in the correct range. Overall system is operating to the manufacture specs at this time of today’s cooling maintenance.

Arrived for scheduled maintenance with member concern of a loud banging/rumbling noise occurring primarily when the HVAC system starts and the blower ramps up. Inspected the indoor equipment and duct system while operating. Noise was traced primarily to the side-discharge plenum/ductwork area. Return ductwork was also observed vibrating excessively during blower operation, which could contribute to rumbling from the duct compressing and relaxing as airflow/static pressure changes. Readjusted and repositioned the return ductwork to reduce excessive movement and vibration. Airflow/CFM was not adjusted. After the duct adjustment, cycled the equipment on and off multiple times to reproduce the original concern. The banging/rumbling noise did not return during repeated cycling, indicating the duct adjustment corrected or significantly reduced the condition at time of service. Performed annual cooling maintenance, including: * Replaced 18” × 30” ceiling-mounted air filter. * Inspected and

Perform cooling maintenance on a split Lennox. Checked refrigerant circuit diagnostic (see technician notes), dual run capacitor and electric motors. Replaced filters and washed outdoor unit. Thermostat/disconnect box: good. System is cooling the home at the time of maintenance.
Run new electrical wiring from the garage subpanel through the attic, then down inside the walls to install a new receptacle near the toilet in each of the three bathrooms (master bathroom, powder room, and guest bathroom). Each new bathroom receptacle will be protected by a combination AFCI/GFCI circuit breaker located in the electrical panel. This provides both arc-fault and ground-fault protection without the use of GFCI reset receptacles at each location. To access the wall cavities, drywall will need to be cut at the top plates where the wiring enters from the attic. Additional drywall cuts may be required if fire blocking, bracing, or other framing obstructions are encountered. Drywall repair and painting are not included unless otherwise noted. Install new Panasonic Whisper series, multi-speed, ultra-quiet exhaust fans in the following locations: * Guest bathroom * Powder room * Laundry room * Two exhaust fans in the master bathroom Fan installation will require cutting and

Fernanda's troubleshooting skills found a newly collapsing return air duct on our 10 week old Platinum American Standard A/C system. It also had an alert for lost contact with a nonexistent sensor, causing it to reboot at least twice on its own. Fernanda's persistence and methodical approach unveiled a hidden problem others might have missed. We appreciate the quick response.
