Upon arrival, 2020 Goodman 4 ton condenser unit not running thermostat was showing blank but blower motor was running. Was further investigation found a blown fuse on circuitboard replace fuse and thermostat came back on. Contactor on outdoor unit pushed in and compressor started up. On startup compressor amps went way over max specifications max Ambridge reading on compressor is 17 was getting 25 while system was running and compressor amps kept climbing up and eventually compressor shut off after running for about five minutes. Run capacitor is good. System is getting proper voltage blower motor is working good as well. Informed Client that they have a bad compressor Wilson send Client estimate via email for a compressor change out and Client will also like an estimate sent via email for a new outdoor in evaporator coil. Also noted that found lots of oil residue all over outdoor unit. While system was off hook, up gauges, and I do have pressure inside system.

Sn-2334- bedroom equipment low on refrigerant. Equipment has history of refrigerant leak In refrigerant system. Client not home advised over phone. Advised equipment will continue to leak. Advised on repair and replacement options. Do to age of equipment recommend equipment replacement. Advised on new refrigerant requirements. Existing equipment uses 410a refrigerant which is being phased out and no longer manufactured. Attached options below also emailed

No answer so left long detailed voicemail explaining what I see in rh chat photos, the white stuff just be drywall debris that fell out of box at end of clean up. After some worth outdoor unit I swept all debris and then vacuums with shop vac at outdoor unit and indoor area and closet. Doe wet looking spot can either be water from my water jug topping over or when dollying our the old condenser anything dripped from that even tho I pinched refrigerant lines so nothing could leak out. But nothing should be of any concern from what I see in photos. Did our bar to keep things clean and cleaned up after.

Arrived to provide two estimates: one to bypass a low voltage can light in front porch and convert it to high voltage and install a led trim light, second estimate is to bypass two low voltage van lights in back porch and convert to high voltage and install two led trim lights.

Demand call upon arrival client stated Casita not cooling properly. FAU on an outdoor fan motor compressor was not. Open up outdoor unit and tested capacitor. Run capacitor for compressor side failed. Notified client about the issue recommend replace dual run capacitor and add compressor saver kit talked about the benefits of having one for the outdoor unit. Client agreed and signed estimate. Installed new dual run capacitor, and compressor saver kit. Tested system operation and checked inrush, showed client the results. System is operational and cooling casita properly. Notify client casita will take a few hours to cool down due to temperature being 93°. Spoke with client about age and efficiency of all four systems recommend client call office and request an estimate from Barry.

Arrived to install a customer supplied canless led light in the kitchen. Additionally I provided a estimate to install 2 outdoor light fixtures, will pull power from interior outlets and run up the exterior wall in 1/2 inch conduit.

Installing 1- ton ductless mini split in casita. Job complete.

Upon arrival, client stated thermostat set at 77 but reading 82 and going up. With further inspection I discovered system has a leak in the condenser coil. Condenser coil has been ordered from Johnstone and should arrive in 2 to 3 days. Client is aware we will give her a call once part is in hand.

See picture. Client stated son in town over the weekend and damper issue occurred. Stated guest room 12” damper didn’t open. Stated at 2am they heard the noise in the attic. Client had turned off living area and master bedroom system but kept guest room on. Stated no air coming into guest room. Stated dining and laundry room had air coming out. I had left dining zone slightly opened to be dump zone. Stated happened multiple times. Advised we will order guest damper and fix issue.
