Upon arrival, discovered issue is not with mini split. Issue is with aftermarket Cielo breeze max Wi-Fi thermostat not installed by Hydes. Mini split is not responding to breeze max thermostat, but still operates properly from handheld remote. Client will have to call tech-support for thermostat due to he not installing mini split thermostat system is operating properly at this time. There will be a trip charging diagnostic fee if client would like hydes to further diagnose thermostat issue with technical support

Called client and client stated home warranty came out and stated evaporator coil is working. Advised client they will say it’s producing cold air so not under warranty however system is not cooling properly due to supply/return plenums issues and we cannot change plenums with the duct board evaporator coil all cut up leaking air.

Today’s an annual cooling preventative maintenance consisted of one unit located on the side of the home. I first began with replacing a 20 x 24 filter in the home to ensure that proper airflow is able to circulate back to the system my minimal resistance. I then ensure that the thermostat is properly calling for cooling and turning the unit on with no errors following with all of the cooling sequence of operation successfully checking out verifying there is a proper 20° split between the liquid line and the suction line which ensures that the home is cooling efficiently to the desire temperature. I also cleared the condensation line thoroughly to ensure that it is properly draining at this time of service. The amps on the system are safely checking out in the correct range verifying a controlled voltage is being used. I also insured that the capacitor is testing out safely for its rated range verifying and controlled voltage is being used. The coils are clean from any obstructions to

Possible condensation leak due to water stains on living room ceiling and on platform. Cleared both condensation lines using Jones valve. Both systems have Goliath secondary drain pans and water safety switch. Both Goliath drain pans were dry and free of moisture. Both primaries and secondary drain lines are clear.

The installation involved the placement of two 5 Ton Gold 17 Ultra Low Nox Upflow Split Systems in the attic, along with the installation of a Honeywell S200 thermostat. This work was executed following standard protocols and specifications to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.

Performed ac cooling maintenance on 2017 American Standard platinum split system with zoning. Replaced (2) ceiling filters. Checked 1050 thermostat for alerts, history, and reset reminders, thermostat working properly as well as all zones. Cleared condensation drain. Cleaned out drive compartment for condenser. Wiring tight and secure. Checked condenser fan motor and compressor amps, voltages, communication dc voltage (12.5). No alerts at thermostat. Cleaned condenser coil. Surge protection light on. Blew out lots of sand and debris from disconnect box, wiring tight in box. System is cooling properly at time of service.

Upon arrival system was calling for cool and operating without keeping up with the heat load. With further inspection while checking refrigerant levels refrigerant levels indicated system was low on refrigerant. Charge system with 2 pounds of refrigerant and numbers look much better but system shows signs of a slight restriction. Explain my findings to client. A client is going to monitor systems operation throughout the day and tomorrow.

A replacement of the 4-ton American Standard Silver 14 heat pump condenser has been conducted.

Upon arrival could see watermark from ceiling. Went into attic and investigated condensation line found a small part of the condensation line that popped off from the secondary drain and water was slowly leaking. Was able to glue back part on test the condensation line multiple times system is now draining properly. We’ll talk with management team on repair options.
