Performed annual maintenance on American standard heat pump split system. Client reported condenser fan making noise on startup. Verified slight whistle at initial start. Removed hair and debris from the bottom of the fan motor assembly. Restarted system — noise was reduced. Checked condenser fan capacitor microfarads; readings are within manufacturer range and not overloading. System runs quietly during normal operation with only a brief noise at startup. Advised client that if the sound becomes louder or more frequent in the future, the condenser fan motor may need replacement under warranty. System is heating properly at this time with no active alerts.

Went into added to check primary and secondary drain lines. Both primary and secondary drain lines were both systems are connected to each other. Secondary drain line goes straight. Back to backside of house does not go anywhere near or above master bedroom also followed primary primary runs for about 10 feet before going straight down to outdoor termination point found no water marks no water damage at all near PVC pipe. Inform homeowners of findings see video for primary termination point.

Cleaned our burner compartments and furnace area. Smelt natural gas by meter , homeowner said his wife smelt it too. Checked with gas leak detector and got a reading by the front board. Performed heating maintenance on 2015 American Standard platinum split gas furnace in rooftop attic access. First gen 1050 thermostat working properly, checked reminders, alerts, and history. Cleared condensation drain, had some pushback but cleared out. Inspected inside vents and lots of gunk and debris. System has a secondary backup drain and a water pan with a float switch on the pan. However having the drain pan fill up if drains backup would require a technician to come and vacuum out the pan to get system running which costs a repair and trip charge, recommended adding a float switch right on primary drain to prevent all that. Cleaned out burner compartment. Checked all heating, safety, and electrical components, all working to manufacture specifications. Zero carbon monoxide detected. 40° heat rise. Cleaned off mechanical platform. System is heating properly at time of maintenance.
