1050 thermostat in master bedroom would have blank screen and not respond to any touch, checked and had 24v, and 12.5 vDC. Tried to reboot and display still blank. Replaced 1050 thermostat. Setup and tested. Connected to WiFi. Mrs.Olson did not have app on her phone she prefers using thermostat. Mr.Olson was not at property. She tried to reach through calling. Informed them to reach out to Hyde’s and they can connect to me to guide through adding phone to app. Left guide there which explains process as well if preferable to what we works for them. I can easily guide over the phone as well.
Verified that units are prepared for inspection, left 8 foot ladder with member
Replaced (3) smoke alarms with. (3) Smoke/CO detectors with 10 year battery life. Replaced one for each guest bedroom and one for casita. Tested and used new harnesses for hard wiring and new backplates.
Changed sensor and mitigation board. System now operating properly.

Performed annual heating maintenance on a 2022 American Standard Platinum Heat pump. Replaced 20x30, 14x14 and 10x10 filters located in the lower walls. Fau attic access is located in master closet attic access. Followed sequence of operations and checked voltage, amperage, temperature rise, Freon levels, cleared condensation line from jones valve, and tested blower motor at 100% to check static pressures. Found no error codes on CDA. 1050 thermostat checked out operational. System is working properly in heating at this time of service. Client requested to speak with Mike or Barry for a garage ductless unit quote. Spoke with office to schedule their return to provide quotes.
Today’s annual maintenance consisted of two upflow American standard units located in two separate closets outside I first began with replacing the filter filters on each unit to ensure there is proper airflow circulating back to the system at minimum restrictions and then make sure that both of the Emerson thermostats are properly calling for heat and turning the unit on the amps on each system, checked out in good range, ensuring that there is a controlled voltage being used throughout the unit all of the heating sequence of operation successfully checked out, ensuring that the warm is properly being warm to the desired temperature. I cleared each condensation line via Jones valve, assuring that the system is properly draining at this time of service and the temperature supply came out in good range, ensuring that the home is being warm to the desired temperature. I Performed Maintenance on the Heating System. Also replaced a 20x30 filter in the ceiling. The system is a 2025 American Standard Gold Heat Pump System located in the garage and outside on the ground. I also flushed the condensate drain. Also installed surge protector at outdoor unit since the unit is a Gold system and then tested to ensure it is on and working and it is. All New Gold and Platinum units get surge protectors at the outdoor on installations. Scheduled next Maintenance visit online for Tuesday July 7th 2026 between 9-11 am. The system checked out operational at the time of the service.

Cleared condensation line from jones valve and tested water safety switch. Cleaned out burners furnace. Verified heating sequence of operation is working properly according to manufacturer specifications. Checked and detected zero carbon monoxide. Checked temperature rise. Ecobee thermostat checked out operational. Scheduled cooling maintenance with client on site. System is working properly in heating at this tune of service.

I first begin replacing bolt filters in the home replacing these filters ensures that there is proper air flow circulating back to the unit at minimum restrictions. I then made sure that both 1050 thermostats are properly calling for heat and turning the unit on safely the amps for each system checked out in good range confirming there’s a controlled voltage safely being used on each system. I cleared each condensation line via Jones valve, ensuring that they are properly draining and before I drain these lines I made sure to put a towel over the sink because the condensation line drains through the bathroom sink down below. The line is properly draining at this time of service for each unit. All of the heating sequence of operation successfully checked out providing the correct temperature through the vents. Upon arrival found loose wires at FAU located inside attic. Secured all wires and cycled system. System is now operating properly.
Everything went well. Maurice was very nice. However I thought it was kind of weird that he asked me if my side gate was locked because he needed access to my backyard. He could easily access my backyard via the inside of my house via my sliding door. It kinda spokes me now thinking back cuz he has access to my gate.

During this cold last few days we had our Bosch heat pump go down. It is four years old. Alex came out and searched the problem and was able to determine it very quickly.
