Client canceled at the door stated his unit is working
Partial install, coil and condenser setup for straight cool, fau is gas furnace. They heard what sounded like pressure relief, that would possibly be reversing valve switching. Charge and temps are good so no leak, only possible scenario where it stops cooling, outdoor unit stops then they heard gas pressure type sound, then heard the outdoor condenser fan running very loud/fast. Adjusting thermostat wire and could hear click. Inspect3d all wiring for any shorts or bare copper. Cut back new connections, removed anything that didn’t have full protective shielding. Tightened R, Y, and O, and common wire with its own wire and wire nut. Wrapped it all with electrical tape to protect from elements and sun damage. After all fixes and adjustments system is staying in cool and not “acting with a mind of its own” per tenants, which matches up with findings and diagnosis. System is now running in cooling only as design, and gas furnace in attic will do all the heating. NC.

Performed a heating maintenance on a 2021 american standard handler , Filters located on bottom wall, fua located in Hallway closet, changed filter, flushed condensation line, checked for amperage and voltage, checked for blower speed, check for any loose connections, check for temperature rise, everything within range also cleared dust accumulated inside electrical component. System is working within specification in heating at the time of maintenance

After Diagnostic found tripped breaker reset breaker checked amps working at range unit is up and cooling
Changed out condenser fan motor. Called for cooling tripped breaker again. Unplug compressor terminals break didn’t trip. Checked compressor was grounded. Systems takes R22 recommend system replacement. Will get estimates tomorrow.
Upon arrival bedroom unit last four serial number 8125 was low on Freon added Freon compressor started overheating twice going to have to swap out compressor under warranty. Send estimate.
