Performing a heating maintenance on a platinum unit. Checked sequence of operations by checking out all electrical and temperature rise. At this time system is heating up the house properly. Also, made sure system switched over into cool mode properly. Both are working within range. No errors or alerts are present. Change the filter and cleaned out condensation line.

After evaluating the locations of the existing lights and cameras, I discussed the estimate with the homeowner and coordinated a suitable time to complete the work today. I removed both flood lights and installed the cameras at the specified locations.

Upon arrival , homeowner showed me the Honeywell 8000 thermostat in back bedroom had “heat pump needs service” alert. Homeowner didn’t know if system had any issue or not. Cycled in 2nd stage and found system is cooling properly. All loads operational, proper voltage and amp draw from motors. Getting a 25° split. Went to test to see if thermostat and unit are going into second stage , went into thermostat installer settings and found it had a service reminder for November 10th, 2025. Removed reminder from bedroom tstat and then removed it from all 3 other Honeywell 8000 thermostats. This is a built in reminder from factory that can be adjusted to remind homeowner to have system maintenanced. I informed homeowner this was the first time seeing this type of reminder, we are aware of the normal filter/maintenance reminders, but this isn’t something we would be able to see during a normal maintenance or even install. All 4 thermostats now have this reminder off. System is cooling properly

Performed a heating maintenance on two natural gas furnaces. Executed static pressure and blower motor amp draw readings. Blower capacitor – good. Tested temperature heat rise and for carbon monoxide poisoning. Replace filters and cleared condensate drain line. Both systems are heating the home at the time of maintenance. Starbucks.
