Danny was the outstanding employee of the week who was thrown into a mess caused by a faulty transducer.. Thor diagnosed the problem on Monday, Sigler the distributer tripped all over themselves making excuses why they sent the wrong part then claiming they didn't have the right one which was 54 days out to getting Danny a part they thought would work. Danny happened to be a Sigler returning parts from another service and got the runaround from Sigler staff but persisted that 54 days was ridiculous and they needed to come up with another solution which meant he got a part with a different ending number that they thought would work. Danny came to my home directly from Sigler. Before doing anything he apologized for the long delay and explained all the problems and possible alternatives. He installed the part in 15 minutes, tested again to make sure it was holding and we were good to go. The Hyde family came to our rescue. Thank you.
This was a long journey for Thor and for Ann and I. It started Saturday morning December 6 when we woke up to a freezing home. Knowing we probably could not get service we hunkered down till Monday morning which Ann getting sick from cold/flu system. I called around 8 am and was told that Thor would be out between 1 and 5. I was happy because I had worked with him previously and knew he could handle the problem. After analyzing problem he said he needed to order a transducer from supplier at 7 am following morning and he would come out and install. Tuesday I waited all day no show. Wednesday was told that after waiting most of day that part would be in Thursday at Sigler the supplier. I was not on schedule for appointment. I called Harmony in office to check and was told the scheduler didn't schedule because she didn't know how I would pay but previous notice showed I had signed to order part and paid by credit card. She told me Thor would be out between 2-5 and I was the 3rd appointment. Thor came out after 5pm and installed the part which didn't work but he said he would call Sigler at 7 am even while he was off to find the right part and he would call me right after. Friday morning not call so I waited again. Around 11 am I had just called the office to request a consult with Barry Hyde when I got a call from Danny Hyde who was the backup for Thor and he was at Sigler and picked up the part and he was coming over. I will comment on Daniel's service on his satisfaction survey. Bottom line he came installed the transducer, tested unit and we were back in business. Unfortunately, this was a week long problem that Sigler handled terribly and office and scheduling department dropped the ball (what we had here was a failure to communicate) but fortunately Thor and Danny saved the day. Ann and I both appreciate having heat last night. Thank you

Blower capacitor within range. Advised client on age and life expectancy. Highly recommend looking into free replacement estimate with winter time specials. Advised during the winter Hydes replace water heaters for free with system replacement. Water heater is 2004 model.
I Performed Maintenance on the Heating System. Also replaced a 20x25 filter. The system is a 2017 model located in the garage and outside on the ground. I also flushed the condensate drain. The system checked out operational and within manufactures specifications at the time of the service.

Performed a heating maintenance on a Rheem gas package, located on the roof. Equipment executed the sequence of operation in heating. No carbon monoxide detected in the home and tested all capacitors. Checked temperature heat rise. Replaced filter and cleaned burner compartment with CO2. Advised client that we would continue to monitor low-voltage wiring, exposed to the sun and Evaporative coil condition. System is heating the home at the time of maintenance.

Heating maintenance on two 10+ natural gas furnace is located in attic/access hallway. Changed out filters located throughout home and ceiling, cleared all electrical components and burners of dust and debris, verified proper sequence of operation, cleared condensation lines at FAU, zero carbon monoxide detected, also washed washable filters for three ductless units. Thermostats checked out OK, systems are within manufacturers, specifications and heating and operating properly at this time of service.

Upon arrival, found bedroom unit thermostat blank. Remove thermostat in check for 24 V between R and C wires and 24 V was present. Put thermostat back and thermostat is now operating. We will return to replace American standard 1050 thermostat under parts warranty.

Checked gas and static pressure is also check temperature rise and all safety switches. Check refrigerant levels, super heat, sub, cool, and temperature split. Found all electrical and safety components to be within manufactured specifications as as well as refrigerant levels. Both systems are operating and heating properly at time of service.
The installation included a 3-ton, 14 SEER2 Friedrich horizontal condenser along with the evaporator condenser. This work was carried out on [insert relevant date], and the technician ensured that all necessary connections and configurations were completed to optimize the system's performance. Heating service on 2019 American Standard rooftop package heat pump unit, need extension ladder, and 8 foot ladder to get to system. Was unable to change out filter, tenant had dog in room. Verified proper sequence of operation, cleared condensation line, clean condensing coil, thermostat checked out OK. System is within specifications and heating and operating properly at this time of service.

We had a thermostat prob which he tried to fix. He was not familiar with it, so couldn’t fix it. He tried to do what he could, but was only here briefly.
Hi Kathleen — Alex was able to fix the issue by resetting the thermostat and removing the unwanted schedule. Since we didn’t install the thermostat, we don’t have the manual for setting up a new schedule, so I’d recommend looking online for a tutorial or video for your model. Let me know if you’d like help finding one.
