Client was able to get thermostat back online by himself

Upon arrival, platinum unit had no errors or alert present on 1050 thermostat. Upon checking in history. I found multiple error code 126. Upon checking outdoor thermostat wire found a loose connection on wire nut connected to outdoor unit. After fixing and restarting system still no error code present was getting 12 DC volts on outdoor thermostat wire connections system at this time is cooling down the house properly.

Adding a Rectorseal RSH-50 to a Bosch all-electric heat pump package unit helps protect sensitive inverter and control board electronics from damaging power surges and voltage spikes. This added protection can reduce costly repairs, prevent nuisance breakdowns, and improve overall system reliability. Surge protection is especially important for modern variable-speed heat pumps because their electronics are more sensitive than traditional HVAC equipment. Installing an SPD also helps protect the customer's investment and supports longer equipment life. Installed surge protector and confirm it is on and working properly.

Performed AC Cooling maintenance on 2019 American Standard Gold split system. Cleaned washable filter with garage upflow furnace. Nest thermostat working properly. Cleaned out electrical compartments and rinsed down the condenser coil. Cleared condensation drain, goes into garage sink next to unit. Old drain line not used, no longer terminates by condenser. Checked amps, volts, start and run capacitors, refrigerant charge/temperature split (23°). System is cooling properly at time of maintenance. Homeowner declined pre-booking fall/ winter heating maintenance .

Upon arrival, thermostat was calling for cool but unit not responding. Reset system at FAU located inside attic unit is now operating and cooling properly.

Performed annual AC maintenance on two 1998 split systems FAU located inside garage. Changed 14 x 25 and 20 x 25 filters located within furnace cabinet. Checked amp, volts, capacitor, and cleaned electrical compartment. Checked refrigerant levels, super heat, subcool, and temperature split. flush condensation line and washed condensing coils. Found all electrical components and refrigerant levels to be within manufactured specifications. Both systems are well beyond life expectancy, but are operating and cooling properly.

Install indoor unit above side door and run a refrigeration lines in the garage with a cover on the right side of the door between cabinet set outdoor unit on a pad and run electrical for main panel on the outside across the threshold securing under the threshold to the outdoor unit location. Need line set cover elbow.

Installing 4 ton American Standard Silver 14 upflow heat pump for living room system

Performed annual maintenance on 2017 American standard 2.5 ton Silver Series condenser unit. Replaced 20x30 air filter; no ladder required. Checked and verified Honeywell 8000 thermostat operation and temperature settings — cooling set point within normal range. Completed full sequence of operation check, including system pressures, temperature split, motor operation, and overall performance levels. Verified blower and condenser fan motors are operating within normal ranges. No refrigerant restrictions or leaks detected; refrigerant charge appears normal. Washed and cleaned condenser coils thoroughly. Brushed debris from electrical components and condenser compartment. Inspected electrical connections and components; no issues found. System cycled properly during operation and cooldown. Unit is operating normally at this time.

Today’s annual cooling preventative maintenance consisted of one American standard unit. I first began with ensuring that the washable filter has been clean and able to provide proper airflow at minimal restrictions. And then clear the condensation line thoroughly to ensure that it is properly draining at this time of service. All of the cooling sequence of operations have successfully checked out verifying that there is a proper 20° split and that the home is being called efficiently to the desire temperature. The American standard thermostat is properly for cooling and turning the unit on. Performed cooling maintenance on a 2024 American Standard Heat Pump, a 2006 2.5ton unit and a 1998 York 2ton casita unit. FAUs are located in hallway attic access and casita indoor closet. Client stated filters did not need to be replaced nor washed at this time. Checked filters and confirmed that they are still clean. Left behind filters. Followed sequence of operations and checked voltage, FLA, RLA, LRA, capacitors, temperature split, Freon levels, and rinsed condenser coils. Cleared condensation lines. Secured all electrical connections. Client stated casita on hotter days unit would trip the breaker when running after a while. Checked amps and wiring assured everything is in range. Informed client of age and condition of unit and unit is pulling more amps on the hotter days resulting in the breaker tripping. Client to hold off on replacing. Nest thermostats checked out operational. Systems are working in cooling at this time of service. Client opted to wait to schedule heating

Comfort ac service on 2016 rheem split system. Fau located inside closet, condenser on east side of home. Replaced filter, flushed condensate line and washed coils. Checked all ac components and charge. Recommend hard start kit to lower electrical load and start the compressor easier to increase the life of the system.

Performed annual maintenance on a 2020 Bryant rooftop split system. Replaced the 24x24 filter and completed a full sequence of operations check. Verified a 20°F temperature split, checked amperage readings, and inspected motors for proper operation. Cleared and confirmed condensate drain line is draining properly. Thoroughly washed condenser coils to improve system efficiency and airflow. Recommend installing a surge protector to help protect the system from electrical spikes and power fluctuations. At this time, the system is operating properly and cooling within manufacturer specifications.

Today’s first time annual cooling preventative maintenance consist of one York R 22 unit. I first begin with replacing the 16 x 25 filter in the home to ensure that proper airflow is able to circulate back to the system at minimal resistance. The Honeywell thermostat is properly calling for cooling and turning the unit on with no errors occurring all of the cooling sequence of operations have successfully checked out verify that there is a proper 20° split on the unit to ensure that the home is being called efficiently to the desired temperature. The amps on the unit are safely checking out in the correct range ensuring a control voltage is being used following with the capacitor also testing out safely for its rated range. I then cleared the condensation line thoroughly to ensure that it is properly draining at this time of service. Overall, this York unit is operating to the manufacture specs at this time of today today’s an annual cooling preventative maintenance.
