Upon arrival, same bedroom unit that has been the problem the last visit. Was running on arrival. Client stated that the thermostat was going blank and then turning back on found that same loose low-voltage fuse was not making proper connection again. This time use more electrical tape to hold fuse together as well as zip tie fuse that way it is not vibrating informed Client that this issue continues to happen. We need to replace transformer altogether. The low-voltage wire is coming from newly installed transformer.

Installed customer supplied thermostat unit is up and cooling

Arrived at customer’s home to diagnose outlets non op in kitchen. Found that there was a breaker in the main breaker panel that was in the tripped position. Reset breaker to restore power to outlets and resolve issue. Informed customer that his breakers are visible aged and covered in dirt, which could cause the breaker to not reset properly. Recommended to customer that we complete a panel tune up to prevent future breaker trips, and added surge protection as customer stated he had a microwave burn out from a surge in the past. Customer stated that he would call us back if he had another issue, but he’d have to pass on the tune up. Sent customer estimates and collected payment to complete scope of work for today.

I Performed Maintenance on both the Cooling Systems. Also replaced a 20x25 and standard lakes filters. Both Cooling Systems are 2016 and 2026 Package units located on the roof. Verified proper temperature splits and system amperages. I also cleaned condenser coils. Both Cooling Systems checked out operational at the time of the service. Scheduled next maintenance visit online.

After Diagnostic found tripped breaker unit that serves living area serial number last four A29H had a tripped breaker reset breaker checked all high voltage wires tightened all wires checked capacitors in range checked amps on compressor the max is 14 running at 12 unit is running on high amps did advise homeowner are 2006 past life expectancy sent estimate for replacement system is up and cooling at this time

Maintenance for cooling on two American standard upflow silver series split systems. Both FAU located in garage two 16 x 25 located at each FAU. condensation line cleared filters changed. Two Honeywell thermostat working properly. Checked both system sequence of operation. Checked compressor amps, checked fan motor amps, checked, capacitors, checked fuses and disconnect box, checked Freon and temperature split. Washed both outdoor units down. Outdoor unit for living room capacitor tested week notify client and recommend replace capacitor under warranty. Client agreed and signed estimate. Replaced dual run capacitor and test system operation. Both systems are working per manufacture spec. Home is cooling properly.

Performed a cooling maintenance on a 2024 Bosch package unit, changed 10x30 10x10 16x25 filter, filter located in ceiling, flushed condensation line, check for thermostat, on unit check for amperage and voltage, check for compressor, check for freon level, check for temperature split, checked for disconnect box, everything within range also clear out dust accumulated inside electrical component area and rinsed unit coil. System is working within specification in cooling at the time of maintenance.

Sent estimate to replace 24x30 filter grill

Upon arrival, found indoor unit operational not outdoor unit. With further investigation found unit thermostat wire not getting 24 V between the two wires on outdoor unit. Was getting 24 from bored, but 24 V was not reaching the two outdoor unit thermostat wires. Try to cut bad wire and connect. The system back together. Still wasn’t getting 24 V from thermostat wire. Wires going to furnace only has three wires available. All three wires are not sending proper 24 V to outdoor unit. How to run a temporary thermostat wire from outdoor unit to indoor unit after doing so outdoor unit turned on and started to cool down the house properly. Informed Client as of right now will need to leave thermostat wire laying around until we can come back and properly rerun thermostat wire will send estimate via email to homeowner. Before sending estimate via email to homeowner will get with management team to make sure we send a proper estimate via email to replace the thermostat wire. System at this ti

Upon arrival, indoor unit was operational outdoor unit was not. With Further investigation found a water safety switch tripped on indoor unit, which is an upflow located in the hallway closet. After cleaning out condensation line and cleaning out secondary drain outdoor unit started up and started to cool down the house properly coming out at 66° temperature inside house was 80° upon arrival and after leaving temperatures inside house was at 78° system at this time is cooling. Made sure to check compressor amps on outdoor unit as well as check run capacitor both are within range.

Compressor non operational. Attempted multiple times to start-installed new capacitor and hard start kit and still would not start. Eventually compressor started and immediately sounded extramly loud and is confirmed failed. Will schedule to install new condenser and evaporator coil asap.

Upon arrival a 2004 York split system with r22 refrigerant had indoor furnace blower motor running , with a call for cooling at Nest mirror thermostat. Checked outdoor condenser unit (located in back yard by back patio) and contactor not engaged and 0v at thermostat wire so as not off on any pressure switch. Verified 24v from Y and C connections for condenser at indoor circuit board, follows wiring, it splices at least 2 times I can access and had 24v inside but not at splice outside. Made sure all wiring was right and reset power to indoor and outdoor . After that all loads came on, indoor blower motor, outdoor condenser fan motor and compressor. System was getting a 24° split and based off r22 refrigerant numbers it had plenty of Freon but numbers were out of specs. Inspected metering device and found it’s a piston. Replaced dirty 14x24 filter at filter rack below closet in laundry room. System is cooling now. Informed homeowner of findings and recommended signing up on Hyde’s Family

Diagnostic on 2015 carrier condenser sn- a033 with 2001 furnace and evaporator coil in attic that serves living room. Compressor is over amping running at 30 + amps which is extremely high then over heats and turns off. Compressor is un repairable and will have to be replaced. Advised equipment uses 410A refrigerant which is be phased out and no longer manufactured. Advised on repair and replacement options. Due to equipment being well past life expectancy recommend full system replacement for long term Solution to convert to new 454B refrigerant. Attached repair and replacement options below also emailed.

Performed a cooling maintenance on a split platinum. Washed outdoor unit and replace filter filters. Checked CDA for notifications and error codes. Thermostat/disconnect box: good. Checked refrigerator circuit diagnostic. System is cooling the home at the time of maintenance.

Changed filter. No one home. Need to reschedule.

Upon arrival I found outdoor condenser had a swollen/failed 60uF compressor capacitor. Replaced 60uF capacitor and tested system in cooling. System came on properly and everything is up and running. System is getting a 22° temperature split. System is charged and cooling properly. Informed homeowner about previous maintenance tech recommended replacing weak capacitor and new capacitor has a 2- year warranty from Hyde’s.

Equipment non operational on arrival. Found compressor overheating and struggling to start. Attempted to manually cool down compressor and install compressor saver kit to attempt to start compressor. Once running noticed major restriction in thermal expansion valve and compressor struggling over amping. Compressor then stoped working again do to overloading. Advised can attempt to repair txv and if compressor fails will need to replace compressor. Equipment in poor condition do to age and may require additional repairs. Advised on new refrigerant, existing equipment uses 410a refrigerant which has been phased out and is no longer manufacturing replacement refrigerant parts. Recommend converting to new 454B refrigerant system with full system replacement for long term solution. Client leaving tomorrow and will make decision over the weekend. Recommend Gold 17 seer due to existing equipment is currently a 2 speed model. Attached repair and replacement options below also emailed.

Performed a cooling maintenance on a split heat pump. Replaced filters and washed outdoor unit. Install gauges, checking temperature and pressure of the refrigerant circuit. Subcool temperatures measured where they need to be. Check duel run capacitors and electrical motors. Check thermostat and disconnect box. System is cooling the home at the time of maintenance.

System is working within specification in cooling at the time of maintenance.

Performed annual AC maintenance on 2012 American standard rooftop package unit. Changed customer supplied 20 x 24 filter. Checked amps, Volpes, capacitor and cleaned electrical compartment. Check refrigerant levels, super heat, subcool, and temperature split. Cleared condensation line and washed condensing coil. Found all electrical components and refrigerant levels to be within manufactured specifications. System is operating and cooling properly at time of service.

Emailed two estimates to move system forward 3 inches. One price is if system has to be removed to achieve the 3 inchesand the other price is if system does not need to be removed.

Upon arrival added 2 pounds of R22

Performed an annual AC maintenance on 2017 and 2019 York split system FAU located in attic. Changed 20 x 20 filter will need to return to change the rest of the filters. Checked ants, volt, capacitor, and cleaned electrical compartment. Check refrigerant levels, super heat, subcool, and temperature split. Cleared lines and wash condenser coils. Cycled system from nest thermostat. Thermostats are operational. Found all electrical components and refrigerant levels to be within manufactured specifications. Both systems are operating and cooling properly at time of service.

Installing 4 Ton American Standard Platinum 18 POV Upflow Split H/P.

Performed annual cooling maintenance on a 2018 American Standard package unit. Replaced 20x24 filter located in hallway ceiling. Followed sequence of operations and checked voltage, condenser fan motor amps, compressor start/run amps, capacitor, hard start kit, temperature split, Freon levels, and rinsed condenser coils. Secured all electrical connections. Honeywell thermostat checked out operational. System is working properly in cooling at this time of service.
