Arrived for a complimentary electrical safety inspection. During inspection of breakers I found one non UL listed breaker in panel. Non-UL certified circuit breakers are unsafe because they lack rigorous safety testing, fail to trip during overloads, and use inferior materials. This can lead to severe electrical fires, severe shocks, and equipment destruction. Additionally I could not confirm gas bonding to the house. Gas lines need to be grounded—technically called bonding—to prevent electrical shock, stop dangerous arcing from lightning, and safely trip circuit breakers if a stray wire touches the pipe. This process equalizes voltage potential across all metal systems in a building. I recommended installing a bubble cover to their exterior outlet. I also recommended homeowners replace their smoke detectors. During inspection of their interior outlets I discovered they were not up to code and backstabbed. Client stated that new system will not cool down below 82 on thermostat was reading 82° upon arrival checked electrical and refrigeration levels and I showed them pictures. Both are within range. System was in second stage inside master bedroom. There was a very heavily restricted filter replace filter for client informed client this will significantly help with the temperatures inside master bedroom before leaving room was reaching 80° on thermostat informed Client that if this continues not to cool down the house properly may need to increase blower motor speed.

Condensate pump drains into PVC drained that’s elevated above FAU. Cleared drain line and poured water down drain to assure system is draining properly. Client explained another company found oil in the evaporator coil, client wanted tech to confirm. Did find oil residue in evaporator coil pan. Client signed estimate for new evaporator coil under warranty + Freon. Will check for status and order coil on Monday. Charged CC on file for repairs.

Arrived on location, found the plug working after further inspection determined that it was a stabbing plug with lugs also realized that the stabbing was loose and coming out took it from the stab and put it around the lugs put it back in. Everything tested fine recommend checking rest of plugs for stabbings and possibly an electrical inspection for later day. Asked about Hyde’s comfort plan. She already has a plan with comfort air not due to expire for a few more years.

Performed annual cooling maintenance on a 2010 American Standard package unit. Client replaced 14x30 filter. Followed sequence of operations and checked voltage, condenser fan motor amps, compressor start/run amps, capacitor, temperature split, Freon levels, and rinsed condenser coils. Secured all electrical connections. Informed client compressor is running over max rated amps. Blower has organic growth. Client aware of age and condition of equipment. Thermostat checked out operational. System is past life expectancy but is working properly in cooling at this time of service.

Upon arrival bedroom unit 2017 American standard was non-operational. Upon checking electrical found all electrical within range compressor slower, motor and condenser motor. We’re all operational upon checking refrigeration levels found refrigeration levels low system had refrigerant. Added 2 pounds of refrigerant to help bring system closer to manufacture specifications due to the extreme heat. Pressures were extremely high did not want to add too much refrigerant today as shown pictures informed Client we will monitor system at this time and if system continues to cool down House properly we need to do a leak search.

Perform annual maintenance summer on a 2012 Payne split system unit. Thermostat and APU located in the hall to the left of the doorway filter is a 20 x 25 inside the unit condenser is on the left-hand side of the house behind the gate. check the 45 capacitor for the compressor check the 7.5 for the fan motor both newer both working did Delta T split cooling washed coils, cleaned out compartment checked disconnect for loose wires and disconnect is used as a junction box with breakers. LRA on compressor 114 amp Little on high side. Compressor run amps was at 17.6 amp fan motor 1 amp. Talked to customer about the Hyde’s family plan and benefits. She wants time to review the packet and wants follow up in few days. Customer also stated that if she wants to be a Hyde family member can she use the $99 she just paid towards the 179 for the year. Customer supplied their own filter.

There isn’t really anything that I can do for him. Offered a one time service and client approved Cleared condensation line at furnace Also replaced a customer supplied 20 x 25 x 5 filter Cycled equipment followed, cooling sequence of operation check refrigerant pressures, and temperature split R22 Check capacitor, fan motor, compressor, amps, and voltage Thermostat checked out OK Rinse condenser coil ✅ System is cooling the best that I can at this time System is 15 years old working the best it can

Recovered refrigerant and removed compressor. Installed new compressor, filter drier, outdoor ambient temperature sensor and compressor harness. Pressurized system to 500. Pulled vacuum to 500. Recharged system and tested. System properly running.

360 thermostat not displayed correct time and date nor any system settings but is cooling. Rebooted system and same issue. Replaced 360 thermostat and controller under part and labor warranty. Connected client to app and WiFi. Tested and cycled equipment. System is cooling properly at this time of service.

I Performed Maintenance on the Cooling System. Also replaced 2) 16x20 filters and flushed the condensate drain. The system is a 2025 model located in the outside closet and outside on the ground. Verified refrigerant levels through temperature split and we’re getting a 21 degree split. Also verified system amperages and cleaned condenser coils. The system checked out operational and within manufactures specifications at the time of the service. Scheduled next maintenance visit online.

Install new 5 ton silver 14 American standard POV split heat pump

Arrived at customer’s home to complete a complimentary electrical safety inspection on home. Found that surge protector that was installed by Hyde’s is on a double tapped breaker. Also found that exterior outlets were missing bubble covers. Recommend upgrading panel to 200 amps to properly create more space in panel for circuits and to bring panel up to current code requirements.

Upon arrival living room unit not operational. Found a blown compressor compressor plug with pens had completely fell off as shown in picture system has no refrigerant completely flat. Homeowners inform homeowners on repairs that are needed to be made. Compressor is under warranty informed Client that refrigerant is not will be sending both estimates to via an email at this time if possible clients are looking to get this done as soon as possible we need to check to see if parts are in stock.

Arrived at customer’s home to complete a complimentary electrical safety inspection. Found that main breaker panel did not have surge protection, found that outlets inside home are backstabbed, and could not verify bonding of gas. Customer requested a quote for redevice and surge protection. Sent customer estimates via email.

Client was called. No answer. We will be installing evaporator coil tomorrow. Install coordinator will call and schedule timeframe with client.

After inspecting interior outlets I discovered they were not up to code and backstabbed. Tamper-resistant receptacles feature internal spring-loaded shutters that block foreign objects from being inserted into only one slot. The shutters only open when equal pressure is applied to both sides simultaneously (as with a standard two- or three-pronged plug), preventing children from getting shocked by poking items like paperclips or keys into the wall. Backstabbed outlets are dangerous primarily because they use small internal spring clips that lose tension over time, causing loose connections, dangerous electrical arcing, and severe overheating. Lastly I recommended to customer to have a whole home surge protector installed. A whole-house surge protector is highly important. Replaced 24x24 and 4) 12x12 filters located in ceilings. Followed sequence of operations and checked voltage, condenser fan motor amps, compressor start/run amps, capacitor, temperature split, Freon levels, and rinsed condenser coils. Secured all electrical connections. Nest and Honeywell thermostats checked out operational. Both systems are working properly in cooling at this time of service.
