Called and spoke with client about new Lennox S 40 thermostat functions
Upon arrival system is operating but has alert code xlb.001.01 z-wave micro not communicating. Reboot thermostat but fault code is still present. We will either need to change thermostat or upgrade thermostat firmware.
Upon arrival, client stated condensing unit would not come on after a brief power outage. With further inspection, I discovered condensing unit had no power due to breaker being tripped. Reset breaker and test system. Unit is now operating and cooling properly. Recommend installing HVAC surge protectors emailed estimate for recommendations.

Both systems are cooling down the house properly finish maintenance by changing out filters and by washing down both package units.
Today’s Daniel calling preventative maintenance consisted of one American standard platinum unit. I first began with replacing the 24 x 24 filter in the upflow area. Replacing this filter ensures that proper airflow is able to circulate back to the system at minimal resistance. I then cleared the condensation line thoroughly via Jonesboro to ensure that the line is properly draining at this time with no instructions. And the 1050 thermostat is properly calling for cooling and turning the unit on with no error, codes or messages occurring on the system. The system is properly providing a 20° split between the liquid line and the section line which verifies at the home is cooling efficiently to the desired temperature. The amps on the system are checking out in the correct range verifying that there’s a controlled voltage safely being used. I also washed out the mini split filters to ensure that proper airflow is able to circulate back to the system. I then thoroughly wash the coils down

Installed two upflow split systems equipped with American Standard Gold 17 split gas systems. The existing humidifiers were reused, and a Honeywell IAQ thermostat was added to enable control over the humidifiers through the thermostat. Additionally, a 50-gallon hot water heater and a recirculating pump were replaced. New filter racks designed for 1" filters were utilized.
Performed annual cooling maintenance on a 2010 American Standard 5ton unit. Upflow fau is located in garage. Replaced 20x25 filter located in blower compartment. Cleared condensation line. Followed sequence of operations and checked voltage, FLA, RLA, LRA, capacitor, hard start kit, temperature split, Freon levels, and rinsed condenser coils. Secured all electrical connections. I then cleared the condensation line to ensure that it is properly draining at this time of service. And the Honeywell thermostat is properly calling for cooling and turning the unit on with no errors. All of the cooling sequence of operations have successfully checked out, verifying that there is a proper 20° split to ensure that the home is cooling efficiently to the desired temperature. And the answers are safely checking out on the system to ensure that there is a control voltage being used. Overall, this American standard unit is operating to the manufacturer specs at this time of today’s annual cooling preventative maintenance.
