Living room unit #D2F had no loads running, calling for cooling but contactor not engaged. Went to attic and unit did not have blower running. Opened panel and checked power, fuse good, made sure everything tight and secure. Pushed down door switch and led started to blink green for a heartbeat indicating standby calling for cooling. Once 5-minute delay ended I heard condenser turn on and blower motor started up. Checked condenser and confirmed system is now cooling. Getting 20° split. Adjusted living room vent as they couldn’t feel it but I let them know it’s 100% running and can feel good airflow and can hear the return grilles airflow audibly.
Daniel and his team did an excellent job, especially working in extreme heat to get our a/c unit installed. He made sure we understood everything and left everything spotless 😊
Upon arrival client stated unit keeps running at 82 degrees checked pressures in range then replaced thermostat unit is cooling properly at this time

Serial 6394,,,Upon arrival found bedroom unit flat on Freon, opened evaporator coil and found oil stains in safety pan, pressurized unit and found another leak at discharge line. Quoted client for repair vs estimate. Client needs to talk to brother sent estimates
Upon arrival, found system calling for cool, but only indoor equipment operating. Upon further inspection found burnt/ Loose 240V wire going into L1 and L2 as well as burnt contactor, replaced contactor and repaired damaged wires and install compressor saver kit to assist compressor at startup and tested equipment. Verified volts and amps in consulted with Bill, power of attorney for approval also signed up for HFCC. System is now cooling and operating properly.
The following outlines the work performed that pertains to the installation of a 3 Ton Evaporator Coil: - The technician executed the installation of a new evaporator coil in the attic, utilizing parts that were covered under warranty. - A thorough process was undertaken to pump down the existing refrigerant from the system into the condenser coil to ensure a clean installation. - A new filter drier was installed as part of the process to enhance system efficiency and longevity. - After completing the installation, the system was vacuumed and the refrigerant was balanced to guarantee optimal performance.
Performed annual cooling maintenance on a 2010 Day n Night 4ton split system. Upflow fau is located in garage. Cleared condensation line from fau. Replaced 18x20 filter located in blower compartment. Followed sequence of operations and checked voltage, condenser fan motor amps, compressor start/run amps, capacitor, temperature split, Freon levels, and rinsed condenser coils. Secured all electrical connections. Found Freon levels low. Informed, recommended, and added 2lbs of Freon to system. Nest thermostat checked out operational. Removed schedules from thermostat. System is working properly in cooling at this time of service.

Ruben was here today for my seasonal maintenance. I asked him to try connect my Schlage lock with my American Standard thermostat since Schlage says that they should connect and I haven’t been able to. He spent about 30 minutes or so attempting to connect them and although he was not successful, he was extremely dedicated. I really appreciated it. I’ll have to work directly with Schlage to solve the problem, but the service was great from Hyde. Ruben was also really willing to put on shoe covers because my housekeeper was cleaning my house. I appreciated this too.

Today’s annual cooling preventative maintenance consisted of two Lennox units located at the side of the home. I first began with replacing both of the filters in the upflow areas located in the garage to ensure that proper airflow is able to circulate back to the system minimal resistance. I then verified that both of the thermostats are properly calling for cooling and turning each unit on with no errors occurring. I also cleared each condensation line thoroughly to ensure that it is properly draining at this time of service. All of the cooling sequence of operations are successfully checking out for both of these Lennox units verify there’s a proper 20° split between the liquid line and suction line which verifies that the home is cooling efficiently to the desire temperature. The amps on each system are safely checking out in the correct range verifying that the blower is operating with a control voltage. Changed out 18 x 24 and washed washable filter located within the furnace cabinets. Cleared condensation lines. Verified proper operation for Remi Halo. Found 45/5MFD capacitor for Goodman system serial 2878 out of range as well as starting amps exceeding specifications who recommended replacement of capacitor and adding compressor saver kit to prevent any further damage to compressor and assist compressor at startup and prevent future breakdown of equipment, also found system serial number Found the system serial number 1615 low on phased out refrigerant as well as electrical components running at max specifications, system had leak fix added to it on 9-26-24. equipment is in poor condition, highly recommend replacement. Calling maintenance on 2014 American standard flat split system furnace is located in garage changed out 20 x 25 filter located within furnace cabinet. Cleared condensation lines at FAU. Cleared all electrical components of dust and debris, verified proper sequence of operation, checked volts, and amps, checked refrigerant levels and line temperatures and took temperature split and cycled equipment. Recommend water safety switch and Jones clear out valve to thoroughly flush condensation line and to prevent any water damage to electrical components of equipment and two home due to condensation overflow from congested line. Will send estimate. Thermostat checked out ok. System is within manufacturers specifications and cooling and operating properly at this time of service.
