Arrived at customer’s home to continue diagnosis of address light non op from tripping breaker. Located doorbell transformers in attic upon arrival, and replaced both transformers to ensure proper function of doorbell/address light. After replacement I found that address light and doorbell operated as they should be. Ensured disconnected load of the photocell was still disconnected, but I could not find anything on he outside of the home that was non op. Customer also stated that they didn’t notice anything that wasn’t operating properly at night. Informed customer to keep an eye out for any fixtures that do not come on at night as they should so we can fix problem and restore power to whatever is affected by issue.

I Performed Maintenance on the Heating System. Also replaced a 16x25 filter. The system is a 2020 American Standard Gas System located in the garage. I also flushed the condensate drain. Could not determine where drain termination is at. Recommended installing water safety switch and Jones Valve for better drain flushing and to protect against condensation drain backups. Sent client estimate for recommendations and client to advise. The system checked out operational at the time of the service. Scheduled next maintenance visit online for Monday August 17th 2026 between 12:30- 3 pm.

...after 18 years with Hydes, & several thousands of dollars invested in a wonderfully new & innovative HVAC system, along with the utmost satisfaction with their awesome service for those 18 years, this incident provided a sense of disappointment. The system works beautifully....but it was the water heater that provided this concern.....it was offered "free" for purchasing their system, most appreciated, but when that water heater, after only 3 months in use, encountered a concerning problem in functioning well, the owner obviously made the decision to not repair it, and from a business point of view because it was a different brand & out of their professional "plumbing" expertise & perhaps, expensive to fix, they left it up to me. I felt a little deserted, after my 18 years of appreciating their excellent service...and I will continue with their normal service routine, as they are outstanding in that regard....Thor Jonasson & Greg Defontes, my Techs for those 18 years, were simply the best at their jobs. Perhaps, I am just too sensitive. Life goes forward..but, again, I am a little disappointed. I am OVER it. BTW they did NOT charge for their visit to check out my problem; promised referrals, never materialized. They are quite busy, & historically, most concerned with their clients.
