Upon arrival, member stated the garage ductless mini-split was not keeping up with the cooling demand. Performed a complete system evaluation. Verified indoor return air conditions at 85.8°F dry bulb, 70.5°F wet bulb, and 59.9% relative humidity with an outdoor ambient temperature of 102°F. Verified supply air temperature of 65°F, resulting in an approximate 19–21°F temperature split, indicating the indoor unit is providing proper cooling performance. Inspected the indoor and outdoor equipment, verified operation, and found no abnormalities affecting system performance. Also inspected the garage exhaust fan and confirmed it is not being used during normal operation. Discussed with the member that the garage experiences significant heat gain due to the unconditioned space, garage doors, windows, and overall building envelope, which can increase the cooling load during extreme outdoor temperatures. Upon arrival, the client stated the system was not cooling the home properly. The indoor temperature was 83°F with the thermostat set to 78°F. Performed a complete diagnostic and verified that all electrical components, compressor and condenser fan motor amperages, and refrigerant levels were operating within manufacturer specifications. Replaced a heavily plugged 16x25 return air filter and rinsed the condenser coils to improve airflow and heat transfer. After service, the system temperature split improved from 16°F to 18°F, confirming improved cooling performance. Based on all testing performed, the air conditioning system is operating properly and cooling as designed. Given the outdoor temperatures and high humidity levels, the system is currently performing at the best of its capabilities. Under these conditions, it is normal for the system to run for extended periods and for the home temperature to decrease more slowly until the outdoor heat and humidity subside.

Multiple issues all happening a day after . Temps for zones set for 78° but rising to 81°. Found float switch stuck with gunk, system only running in first stage CL1 even with all zones running and setpoint ten degrees below a. Test. Rebooted and found port for y2 on zone panel not pushing in. Got system to go into cl2 second stage cooling. Compressor staying on and not shutting off now. And could her indoor blower ramp up and led showing it go up to max cfm. Getting 20° split. System cooling properly now. Previous tech James did good job with duct be zoning modification. Just coincidence and maybe issue with older wiring connections in tux, 2 float switches in series. Informs to let it go over night. If system not able to maintain 78° by tomorrow morning to give Hyde’s a call.

I spoke with the homeowner and confirmed there was not a wire that came off, it was actually the condensate drain hose she thought was supposed to be connected to the condenser but I assured her that is not supposed to be connected to the outdoor unit.

The work performed involved the installation of a 2-ton AS Mitsubishi ductless heat pump to address cooling deficiencies in a small commercial refrigeration area. The technician mounted the unit on the wall and securely positioned the condensing unit on the roof, connecting the necessary refrigerant lines from the indoor unit to the outdoor condensing unit. Additionally, new electrical power was routed from the large panel situated at the rear of the building to support the operation of the heat pump. An alternative option discussed includes the potential installation of an additional evaporative cooler while keeping the back door open to enhance airflow and cooling efficiency. Job complete.

Upon arrival back thermostat was showing the time and date had to push in the correct time and date after doing so system turned on and started to cool down the house properly. Jumped on top on rooftop and verified system is cooling. Also, while on top called up homeowner and informed homeowner that both units are past life expectancy, and the older R 22 system needs to have a maintenance done to it as it is making a very loud rattling noise. Both systems are reaching temperatures of 85°, which is how Client sets his House. Client will give us a call back on when he is ready to jump on the maintenance plan.

Upon arrival, found the primary condensation line overflowing. Flushed and cleared the condensation line to restore proper drainage. Verified that the system is now draining correctly as designed with no further overflow also signed for HFCP

Today’s annual cooling maintenance consisted of one system on side of the home. I replaced both filters in the home. thermostat is properly calling for cooling with no alerts. I cleared the condensation line and properly draining. All of the cooling sequence of operations are successful checking out normal. Pressures are in good range. And capacitor tested out of range, client approved repair. New capacitor is testing out good. I thoroughly washed the coils down on system to remove dirt and debris. Performed a cooling maintenance on a Bosch package unit. Check sequence of operations by checking out all electrical and refrigeration levels at this time. Unit is cooling down the house properly. All electrical and refrigeration levels are within range. Finish maintenance by washing down package unit changing out filter and making sure your system is draining properly.

Nest thermostat displays cooling but condenser is not turning on, reset thermostat and unit and condenser turned on. Monitored system for 15mins and verified refrigerant charge and electrical readings. Everything checked out in range. Recommended replacing thermostat, client to advise. Sent thermostat replacement options via email. Informed client how to reset unit/thermostat if issue reoccurs.

Performed a cooling maintenance on 2 2018 Lennox condenser, condenser located on right side of home, filter located inside filter rack, fau located in garage, changed 16x25 & 14x25 filter, flushed condensation line, check for thermostat, on condenser check for amperage and voltage, check for compressor, check for freon level, check for capacitors recommend replacing both capacitors were out of range HO gave me okay to replace them, check for disconnect box everything within range also clear out dust accumulated inside electrical component area and rinsed condenser coil. Systems are working within specification in cooling at the time of maintenance.

Secured all electrical connections. Freon levels are below manufacturer specifications but system is still cooling and maintaining desired indoor temperature. Arrived at customer’s building to install a new dedicated 240v 20 amp circuit for minisplit install today. Penetrated out of the side of the main panel and ran PVC coated mc cable up wall and across roof to outdoor unit location. Landed all connections and confirmed placement with the installers to complete scope of work for today. Installers to collect full payment amount upon completion of project.

Install air handler in kitchen/living room above slider door. Install outdoor unit where outdoor couch is currently located. Run electrical from breaker panel to outdoor unit location with mcb down low. Need 220 amps zinsko breaker. Need 3 lineset covers, 3 corner 90, penetration 90. Job complete.

Upon arrived unit was cooling proceeded to check for any loose wire and no loose wire after inspection replaces Honeywell Thermostat with an Emerson thermostat unit is running properly.

Plastic elbow and 90° have black/brown discoloration on the outside but no signs of electrical “fire/burn” marks inside the covers. Will get new plastic covers and replace under warranty. Will have office schedule once parts are in hand.
