Upon arrival package at located on rooftop compressor, not turning on. With further investigation found a failed hard start kit after replacing hard start kit system started up and started to cool down the house properly. Compressor amps are within range getting a 22° split at this time filter is a 20 x 25. System at this time is cooling down the house properly.

Upon arrival unit with model number RA1448AJINA . Outdoor unit not working with further investigation found a blown run capacitor after changing out run capacitor system started up and started to pull down the house properly. Client has already signed up for Hyde’s family plan. Client will call us when they know when they will be available to have maintenance done. System at this time is cooling down the area properly.
Upon arrival was getting no power to FAU. With further investigation found a trip FAU breaker. Turn breaker back on and system started up and started to cool down the house properly. Check for any loose connections. Check thermostat wire also check breaker to see if there’s any burn marks system is running properly at this time for the last 20 minutes . Help Client set up appointment for maintenance. That way we can check refrigeration levels and check electrical components again. System is working properly at this time.
Tripped breaker to fau equipment. Repaired electrical short, re-established 120 volt circuit and tested operation. Equipment is working properly at this time. Advised furnace is in attic is in very poor condition well past life expectancy with 2022 condenser and evaporator coil. Advised on refrigerant phase out and furnace phase out. Attached estimates below on equipment options.
Performed annual maintenance on a 2024 American Standard heat pump split system. Replaced 20x25 air filter. The FAU is located in the garage upflow. Verified sequence of operation and checked refrigerant levels, amperage, and electrical components—within normal range. Cleared condensate drain line to ensure proper drainage. 1050 found no active alerts or faults found. System is operating properly at the time of service. Client renewed Comfort Plan.
Upon arrival, client stated that system is working properly. Set to 77 reaching temperatures of 77° inside house check all electrical and temperature split temperature split as well within range as last technician noted. Compressor is starting to work close to max manufacturer specification. Getting 22 RLA while compressor is running. Recommended a hard star kit to help compressor on startup. Client agreed after installing Hardstart kit tested out component system at this time is cooling down the house reaching temperature of 76°.

Tstat says reboot on arrival. Once screen came on error 91 loss off communication. Checked equipment summary and found outdoor unit offline, verified 2.5 v dc is present to outside unit on dh to common and dl to common. Fluctuation dc v between dh and dl. Thermostat wire appears to be communicating properly. Verified electrical connections are secure. Moc board flashes device count then flashes amber light steady fast then flashes device count. Replaced system controller and Tstat and set up. System now operating properly. Set up account so we can monitor photo on file of system information

Returned to install furnace circuit board. Once old board was removed, found burn mark on the back of circuity, confirming the old board was damaged. Once board was installed, tested system in cooling, fan and heating to confirm operation and proper circuit connections. Courtesy set thermostat for 76° so clients can return to a semi comfortable home. Charged credit card on file.

Johnathan fixed my problem within 5 minutes of entering my house. He’s the best. Johnathan was the one who came out a year ago and gave me an estimate for my two new units. At the same I had Timos give me an estimate too. The estimates were very similar but the deciding factor for me was Johnathan. He was upfront, honest and decent. He’s the reason Hyde’s got my business.

Performed a cooling maintenance on two package units. Wash down units and replace filters. Checked refrigerant circuit diagnostic, capacitors and running/starting amperage in all motors. Both systems are functioning according to manufacture specifications.
Upon arrival client stated systems thermostat went blank. Found not power at packaged unit. Found breaker partially tripped, reset breaker and cycled system. Didn’t find any issues with system. Possibly weak breaker. Breaker panel on south wall getting a lot of heat.

Performed a cooling maintenance on a 2024 American Standard silver series condenser, condenser located on backside of home, filter located inside filter rack, fau located in hallway closet, changed filter, flushed condensation line, on condenser check for amperage and voltage, check for compressor, check for freon level, check for capacitors, everything within range also clear out dust accumulated inside electrical component area and rinsed condenser coil. System is working within specification in cooling at the time of maintenance.
Upon arrival unit with model number 4A7A5036E1000AC was completely ice up from compressor to evap coil. Check refrigeration levels after deicing system and refrigeration levels were well within range with further investigation. Found a very restricted filter after replacing filter and doing a courtesy wash down on condenser unit system is now cooling down the back bedroom properly was 81° on arrival before leaving reaching 77°. No ice warming up after letting system run for 30 minutes. All is within range at this time, highly recommended doing a maintenance to prevent systems for breaking down.

Performed a cooling maintenance on two Bosch package units. Replaced filters and washed down unit. Checked refrigerant circuit diagnostic, voltages and electrical motor operation. No error codes detected on the motherboard. Installed whole house surge protection – client paid via C C. Both units are functioning according to manufacturer specifications.
Upon arrival client stated system not cooling well. Cycled system and found system low on refrigerant and fan motor capacitor outside of range. Replaced capacitor and tested. Charged three pounds of r410a. Used leak detector and found leak in coil. Client is having maintenance done in a few weeks. Advised maintenance tech will see how much charge we have lost and will make recommendation if we should replace coil this summer or monitor system. Created and sent estimate.
Taylor did a great job of checking all the areas that needed to beringer checked and also explaining everything to us as he went along. It was great that he could come today because he was the one who came last time and fixed the problem very well at that visit. All is still good today and we were very happy with the service once again!!
Remove Zinsco sub panel and replace with code compliant Square D 100 amp sub panel. Patching is not included but Hyde's can provide a contractor to perform the work. Patch should be a relatively minor repair. Arrived to replace an old Zinsco subpanel with a new Square D 100-amp subpanel, including installation of new breakers. Cut the paneling as necessary to accommodate the new subpanel. Secured the panel to the wall studs and ensured all wiring was properly connected.
I Performed Maintenance on the Cooling System. Also replaced a 20x30 filter. The system is a 2023 Heat Pump model located in the master closet attic and outside on the ground. I found that the Whole House Surge Protector is not working. Advised client that we would need one of lit electricians to look at and see why it’s not working. Office to call and schedule one of the electricians to come out and look at it. The system checked out operational and within manufactures specifications at the time of the service.
Upon arrival Client has thermostat set to Celsius set to 80s which was reading 80° inside house. Again showed Client how to work thermostat all this within range.
Upon arrival client stated guest bedroom system not cooling. Cycled system and found system 95 percent flat on refrigerant. Courtesy opened evaporator coil and used leak detector. Found leak in evaporator coil. Advised client on replacement of evaporator coil vs complete replacement. Client to go with coil. Office to call and schedule to replace evaporator coil and recharge system four pounds of r410a. Renewed on yearly agreement.
Maintenance for cooling on an American standard split up flow system. FAU located in guest bathroom attic. 14 x 20 filter located in master bedroom. 16 x 25 filter located at FAU. Condensation line cleared filters changed. Honeywell thermostat working properly. Checked system sequence of operation. Check compressor amps, checked fan motor amps, checked fuses, check two capacitors system has a hard start kit. Checked Freon and pressure. System is working for a manufacture specification. Home is cooling properly.
Arrived at customer’s home to diagnose fan non op and check smoke detectors. Found that fan was non op and was not syncing to remote for fan. Informed customer that we would have to come back for an advanced diagnostic. Also found two bad smoke detectors that we will replace at the same time we return for fan.
He seemed to be very knowledgeable on our system and what the issue was.
