Today’s annual cooling preventative maintenance consisted of one unit located in the backyard. I first began with ensuring that both of the 16 x 20 filters have been replaced and there is proper airflow able to circulate back to the system at minimal resistance. I then verified that the thermostat is properly calling for cooling and turning the unit on with no errors occurring. All of the cooling sequence of operations are successfully checking out verifying there is a proper 20° split between the liquid line on the suction line which ensures that the home is cooling efficiently to the desire temperature. The amp brush is testing out safely in the correct range verifying that the blower is testing out safely. Following with the capacitor also testing all safely in the correct rated range. I then insured that the coils are thoroughly washed down of all debris to ensure that it is properly receiving good airflow throughout the coils. I asked him to try connect my Schlage lock with my American Standard thermostat since Schlage says that they should connect and I haven’t been able to. He spent about 30 minutes or so attempting to connect them and although he was not successful, he was extremely dedicated. I really appreciated it. I’ll have to work directly with Schlage to solve the problem, but the service was great from Hyde. Ruben was also really willing to put on shoe covers because my housekeeper was cleaning my house. I waited from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. for service. I got a call about 4:50 that the service man was running late. I appreciated the call. Ruben was up beat and very pleasant when he arrived. He did the servicing and found nothing wrong. It was a very hot day, but Ruben seemed happy in spite of it. I liked him.

My name is Carole, and I can’t say enough good things about Hyde, Im so glad I chose them! James Burrell my tech was awesome. Professional & friendly. He found the problem, replaced the part checked my filter it was nasty, & he changed it. He explained the functionality of the system so I could understand. He was here and completed the work in less than 1/2 hour! WHAT? He had the part we needed, filter and I am so happy. As a senior citizen on a fixed income I was expecting the worst. I love that we didn't have to wait for parts or break the bank, this company is on top of their game. Thank you so much!
