System is working within specification in heating at the time of maintenance.
Upon arrival, found thermostat calling for heat, but nothing was running Inspected low-voltage at thermostat Went to rooftop package unit, and with further investigation, found that gas valve was switched to OFF position Switch gas valve to ON reset system and system started heating ✅✅ Equipment is operating as designed

Homeowner Mrs.Bath had questions about leaks, refrigerant lineset quote, cost of r410a refrigerant, life expectancy of systems and about her current 2015/2016 Lennox XC21 systems. I did inform they are out of warranty and close to the end of the life expectancy in our area. And if looking for replacement with the new systems using the new current r454b refrigerant we do financing and have great warranties and financing options.
Daniel and the entire Hydes team that was involved with the installation of our new furnace and ac unit did a fantastic job. They were friendly and explained the steps they were going thru along the way and Daniel introduced each employee working with him. I had the great pleasure of working with Michael Hyde to help select the best system for our home he and was so patient in helping me understand a heat pump as I’ve only had gas furnaces in the past. From my experience with Michael I felt there was a family culture dedicated to quality customer service, and that culture was so clearly reflected by Daniel and every other team member.

Replaced reverse valve and still same issue. Pressures equalized 248/255 psi. Do have 24 v to reverse valve but will not switch over to cool or heat pressures stay equalized. Tried to pump down and would not pump down. Compressor is bad and will have to be replaced. Will order new compressor.

...after 18 years with Hydes, & several thousands of dollars invested in a wonderfully new & innovative HVAC system, along with the utmost satisfaction with their awesome service for those 18 years, this incident provided a sense of disappointment. The system works beautifully....but it was the water heater that provided this concern.....it was offered "free" for purchasing their system, most appreciated, but when that water heater, after only 3 months in use, encountered a concerning problem in functioning well, the owner obviously made the decision to not repair it, and from a business point of view because it was a different brand & out of their professional "plumbing" expertise & perhaps, expensive to fix, they left it up to me. I felt a little deserted, after my 18 years of appreciating their excellent service...and I will continue with their normal service routine, as they are outstanding in that regard....Thor Jonasson & Greg Defontes, my Techs for those 18 years, were simply the best at their jobs. Perhaps, I am just too sensitive. Life goes forward..but, again, I am a little disappointed. I am OVER it. BTW they did NOT charge for their visit to check out my problem; promised referrals, never materialized. They are quite busy, & historically, most concerned with their clients.
