I was a bit disappointed at the overall price to replace the run capacitor. I'd seen these capacitors for about $30 so that means the labor charge was over $200 which i believe was high.

I have been a Hyde's customer for years across many houses. I just had Brandon come by for my 6 month maintenance, and I was running super late, and the office and Brandon could not have been nicer about me being late. He is a really nice guy and was so efficient and got the job done easily and was also really awesome about my crazy dogs. Thank you to Hyde's for hiring such nice technicians!

The AC I bought from Hyde’s family business died after 17 years of reliable cooling and heating. It was obvious that we should replace it with the same brand and model. Knowing we had no AC in this Palm Desert summer heat, Hyde’s installed the new system the very next day. That’s impressive. But even more impressive the new AC was even better than the last one, quieter and more efficient. We would do it again.

She put on booties before entering my home (extra points) and respectful. Very knowledgeable and explained a split unit.

Same day service for my blower motor that stopped functioning. Amador was a very good technician and found some problems with my heater as well. Both issues were fixed and not only do I feel cooler, but I feel safer that everything is in working order!

Very positive first ever experience with Hydes HVAC. Maurice Burrell was very timely with his arrival, communication and efforts to correct Mr. Barbuti's AC problem. I was very impressed with Mr. Burrell's pro-active and timely communication are well as his diagnosis and problem solving capabilities as he diagnosed and fixed Mr. Barbuti's AC problem.

Thor came in the evening to fix a problem with our air conditioning units left from a previous service that day that left half of our system not operating. He quickly fixed the problem and then thoroughly checked the entire system to ensure it was all fully operational.

Frank came in and immediately knew what the problem was, outlined our options, and what the best solution was for our needs. Best part, the solution wasn’t even the most expensive.

As a licensed general contractor , I had explicit questions that required the correct answer. He answered my questions and performed the adjustments that solved the issues that I presented. Service like this is hard to come by these days , excellent

Ruben was here today for my seasonal maintenance. I asked him to try connect my Schlage lock with my American Standard thermostat since Schlage says that they should connect and I haven’t been able to. He spent about 30 minutes or so attempting to connect them and although he was not successful, he was extremely dedicated. I really appreciated it. I’ll have to work directly with Schlage to solve the problem, but the service was great from Hyde. Ruben was also really willing to put on shoe covers because my housekeeper was cleaning my house. I appreciated this too.
