Work Performed: unit SN*****39R2F. Living room unit • Upon arrival, the client reported intermittent cooling issues with the living room system. She stated that the unit had stopped cooling, then started again after a few hours, ran briefly, and stopped cooling once more. • Both systems were operational at time of arrival. I identified and focused on the unit the client had been experiencing issues with. • Inspected the condenser and found the system was running at maximum amperage, which led me to further investigate. • Found a failed run capacitor causing strain on the system. • Also tested the hard start kit and found it had lost its charge and was no longer functioning. • Noted that a maintenance service had been performed approximately three weeks ago. • Informed the client I would waive the trip charge and treat this as a continuation of the prior service. • Recommended and replaced both the hard start kit and the run capacitor. ⸻ System Condition Upon Completion: •

Upon arrival found system operating, verified proper voltage being supplied to unit and wire nuts were properly tightened, verify refrigerant levels found system on lower end of good added a pound of 410A to bring subcooland superheat to specifications, did not find anything out of normal operation informed client that possible issue could be system turning off on water safety switch for company blower motor has one installed. System is cooling and operating properly.

Returned to clean evaporator coil. Removed debris and sprayed coil with cleaning detergent. Removed mud and sludge from drain pan to prevent P-trap from clogging in the future. Reassembled coil and tested. System is cooling the home at the time of maintenance – client paid via C. C.

Upon arrival, found thermostat for system serial number JM5S blank. Upon further inspection, found the water safety triggered, cleared condensation line at FAU and located outside termination to verify line has been properly cleared, removed all dust and debris away from outside termination covered by bushes and also cleared through outside termination and a secondary. Thermostat now has power restored, and system is cooling and operating. Informed client if issue presents itself, may need to move to condensate pump to prevent system, shutting off due to condensation back up triggering safety switch.

Upon arrival found system calling for cool but only indoor blower and condenser fan motor operating, upon further inspection found flat 45MFD capacitor and error code 6 flashes indicating open start circuit, replaced a 45 MFD capacitor and added compressor saver kit and tested unit. Verified temperature split, system is now cooling and operating properly at this time of service. Signed client up for annual comfort membership

Demand Service Report 4 ton 2004/ horizontal Issue Reported: Upon arrival, the client reported that their air conditioning system is taking significantly longer than usual to cool the home. Inspection and Findings: • Inspected ductwork in the attic — ductwork is outdated but still in tact. • Evaluated system performance and identified the following: • The compressor is drawing extremely high amperage. • Refrigerant levels are slightly low. • The system uses R-22 refrigerant, which has been phased out. I advised the client that adding refrigerant (if available) may further increase compressor amp draw, which could potentially lead to system failure. System Age: The system is approximately 21 years old. Recommendations: • Discussed the benefits of replacing the system due to age, inefficiency, and the discontinued refrigerant. • Also recommended zoning the house to allow for more efficient temperature control in different areas.
