Upon arrival outdoor unit wasn’t getting call. Found blown out capacitor. Low pressure switch tripped bypassed. Unit is now cooling properly at this time of service

Emailed water heater estimate.

Main drain line for equipment clogged and unit drainage into garage. Equipment has had multiple breakdowns due to age 2004 model equipment in very poor condition well past life expectancy. Cleared drain line and tested operation. Advised equipment uses r22 refrigerant which is no longer manufactured. Recommend replacing equipment to avoid continuous breakdowns. Cleared condensation line from jones valve. Followed sequence of operations and checked voltage, condenser fan motor amps, compressor start/run amps, capacitor, temperature split, Freon levels, and rinsed condenser coils. Secured all electrical connections. Honeywell 8000 thermostat checked out operational. System is working properly in cooling at this time of service. Client opted to wait to schedule heating maintenance.

Perform annual AC maintenance on 2012 American standard split system FAU located inside attic. Condensing unit located on right side of home. Changed 20 x 30 filter. Checked amps, volts, capacitor and cleaned electrical compartment. Checked with refrigerator level, super, sub, cool, and temperature split. Cleared line and clean coil. Found all electrical components and refrigerant levels to be within manufactured specifications. System is operating and cooling properly at time of service.

🛠️🛠️ On arrival called client I was informed that renters had informed homeowners that air-conditioning has stopped working Also receptacle outlets in master bedroom, not working Courtesy Check breakers reset breakers for bedroom. Also checked that all breakers are putting out power. Breakers are old, should consider updating breakers, but all breakers are working Would need an electrician to come out and search for lost power Went up to equipment, opened the entire system to check for refrigerant, leaks, shorted, wires, or anything out of the normal Reset system It was then determined that condenser fan motor is not working Also run capacitor got drained Left AC on OFF at the thermostat to prevent further damage to compressor Also unable to check compressor amps and refrigerant until system is running Made a phone call Spoke with assistant Highly recommend replacing equipment due to age and failing parts Attached are three estimates Please sign and accept. Arrived at customer’s home to diagnose ev charger not charging properly. Found that cord and adapter for charger were both only rated for 30 amps. Informed customer of this and changed breaker from a 50 to a 30 amp breaker to complete scope of work for today. Breaker should have been changed during original install and was changed free of charge.

Upon arrival, thermostat was calling for cool, but unit not responding. After checking all low-voltage wires and bypassing thermostat discovered was faulty not sending signal to package unit. Installed new thermostat and cycled system. Also checked refrigerant levels. System is now operating and cooling properly.
