Upon arrival living room unit not operational. Found a blown compressor compressor plug with pens had completely fell off as shown in picture system has no refrigerant completely flat. Homeowners inform homeowners on repairs that are needed to be made. Compressor is under warranty informed Client that refrigerant is not will be sending both estimates to via an email at this time if possible clients are looking to get this done as soon as possible we need to check to see if parts are in stock.

Arrived at customer’s home to complete a complimentary electrical safety inspection. Found that main breaker panel did not have surge protection, found that outlets inside home are backstabbed, and could not verify bonding of gas. Customer requested a quote for redevice and surge protection. Sent customer estimates via email.

Client was called. No answer. We will be installing evaporator coil tomorrow. Install coordinator will call and schedule timeframe with client.

Arrived for a complimentary electrical safety inspection. During inspection of exterior outlets I recommended bubble cover be installed to outlets. After inspecting interior outlets I discovered they were not up to code and backstabbed. Tamper-resistant receptacles feature internal spring-loaded shutters that block foreign objects from being inserted into only one slot. The shutters only open when equal pressure is applied to both sides simultaneously (as with a standard two- or three-pronged plug), preventing children from getting shocked by poking items like paperclips or keys into the wall. Backstabbed outlets are dangerous primarily because they use small internal spring clips that lose tension over time, causing loose connections, dangerous electrical arcing, and severe overheating. Lastly I recommended to customer to have a whole home surge protector installed. A whole-house surge protector is highly important. Performed annual cooling maintenance on 2) American Standard units. One heat pump and one split. FAUs are located in master closet attic access. Cleared condensation lines from faus. Replaced 24x24 and 4) 12x12 filters located in ceilings. Followed sequence of operations and checked voltage, condenser fan motor amps, compressor start/run amps, capacitor, temperature split, Freon levels, and rinsed condenser coils. Secured all electrical connections. Nest and Honeywell thermostats checked out operational. Both systems are working properly in cooling at this time of service.

Wanted to verify again before repair. Cycled system in second stage and after about ten minutes, indoor unit had error code E17 which goes for txv issue and confirmed by charge. All wiring connections tight and secure. Replaced txv. Pressure tested. Pulled deep vacuum under 200 microns. Vacuum decay test. Then reopened lines and checked charge. System is cooling properly now, went from 85° to 80° while testing and monitoring charge. Refrigerant numbers are to specs now. Ran for. 25 and never saw error code again , when error would pop up blower would slow down, show cl1, and cause frosting and cooling issues, refrigerant numbers would be way off. Now refrigerant numbers stay at specs and system stays in correct stage.

Arrived for a complimentary electrical safety inspection. During inspection of breaker I found a breaker that was non ul listed for that panel. Non-UL certified circuit breakers are unsafe because they lack rigorous safety testing, fail to trip during overloads, and use inferior materials. This can lead to severe electrical fires, severe shocks, and equipment destruction. I also discovered that none of the exterior outlets had bubble covers. You need bubble covers (known as "in-use" covers) for outdoor electrical outlets to protect against water damage, prevent electric shock, and stop corrosion while a cord is plugged in.  I also recommended to homeowner owner that the smoke detectors needed replacing. Upon arrival, verified the equipment serial number 3XHF. Found the thermostat for the newly installed system (installed approximately one week ago) blank with no display. Upon further inspection, found the system had shut down on the condensate safety switch. Cleared the condensate drain line at the Jones valve. The condensate drain ties into another system, and the exterior termination could not be located for further verification. Restored power, cycled the equipment, and verified normal operation. System is cooling properly at this time.

I Performed Maintenance on the Cooling System. Also replaced 2) 20x30 and 20x20 filters. The system is a 2023 Carrier Gas Split System located in the attic and outside on the ground. I found that the dual run capacitor tested weak and out of manufactures specifications. I advised client about replacing the capacitor. Client elected to hold off at this time. Sent client estimate for replacing the capacitor. Verified refrigerant temperature splits are proper as well system amperages are testing within parameters. I then cleaned Condenser coils. At the time of today’s service the system checked out operational at the time of the service. Scheduled winter service online.

Performed preventive maintenance on two split-system HVAC units. Inspected all electrical components and verified that refrigerant pressures and system operation are within manufacturer specifications. Cleaned the condensate drain lines from the furnace/air handler (FAU) located in the garage, replaced all air filters throughout the home, and completed the service by washing down both outdoor condenser units to help maintain proper airflow and performance

Flushed the condensate drain from the attic and condensation drain drains into master bathroom sink. I found that the dual run capacitor tested weak and out of manufactures specifications and that the start capacitor kit tested no good. Advised client about replacing both components. Sent client estimate for replacing both items. Recommended comfort plan and client agreed. Scheduled next maintenance visit online and scheduled with client to return at a later date to complete repairs.

Performed a cooling maintenance on a platinum unit. Trixie of operations by checking out all electrical and refrigeration levels at this time all within range and system is cooling down the house properly no errors or alert present finish maintenance by washing down outdoor unit and cleaning out condensation line and changing out filter.

Maintenance for cooling on a carrier 3.5 ton 2008 r22 split system package unit. 20 x 30 filter located in hallway, attic axis located in hallway as well. Condensation line cleared filter changed. Thermostat check out OK. Check system sequence of operation. Checked compressor amps, checked fan motor amps, checked capacitors, checked fuse and disconnect box, check Freon and temperature split. Unit was severely dirty washed the unit down. Upon maintenance notice capacitor for blower motor and do run capacitor for fan and compressor tested weak. Notified client and recommend replace both. Client agreed and signed estimate. Installed two new capacitors and test system operation. System is working at time of maintenance. Home is cooling properly. Client signed up for annual maintenance via check. Scheduled next appointment with client. Client acknowledges system is 18 years old containing old Freon.

Performed annual cooling maintenance on a 2022 Lennox 2.5 ton unit and a 2017 American Standard 3ton unit. Faus are located in hallway attic access and garage upflow. Replaced 20x30 filter in hallway and media filter in garage did not need to be replaced at this time. Cleared condensation lines. Followed sequence of operations and checked voltage, condenser fan motor amps, compressor start/run amps, capacitors, hard start kit, temperature split, Freon levels, and rinsed condenser coils. Secured all electrical connections. Found main home unit S#DJ3F subcooling levels out of range. Informed, recommended, and added 1lb of Freon to bring subcooling levels to manufacture specifications. Thermostats checked out in range. Both systems are working properly in cooling at this time of service. Client paid via check.

Upon arrival R 22 system is not operational. Indoor unit was up and running outdoor unit went down. Upon further diagnostic found a blown run capacitor. After replacing run capacitor system started up and started to pull down the house again and compressor amps are within range. Informed clients that based on the age and conditioning system would highly recommend replacement very soon.
