I Performed Maintenance on both the Cooling Systems. Also cleaned washable filters and flushed both the condensate drains. Both Cooling Systems are 2014 models located in the garage and outside on the ground. I found that both dual run capacitors tested no good and outside manufactures specifications. I advised client about it and recommended replacing capacitors, to which client agreed. I installed two new dual run capacitors and tested. Both Cooling Systems checked out operational and within manufactures specifications at the time of the service. Kitchen venstar has setpoint at. 78°, indoor temp 79° but not running, I checked and could not adjust temp thresholds , homeowner says she’s fine with it and used to it. Can replace with a simple Honeywell thermostat. Checked amps, volts, run capacitors, refrigerant/temp splits. Systems are cooling properly. Informed homeowner both compressors are pulling over their max rates start amps, thus overtime can wear down the motors, they take more energy and electricity to startup as they age. Recommended adding hard start kits to each system to assist compressors for smoother startups, prolonging their lives and reducing stress on the “hearts “ of the air conditioner

Cooling service on 2019 American Standard rooftop package unit 2021 American standard rooftop package heat pump unit changed out standard lake filters, cleared all electrical components of dust and debris, verified proper sequence of operation, found starting amps for both systems exceeding specifications, as well as biological growth on both of blower wheel and housing recommended installed and tested compressor saver kits to prevent any further damage to compressors and assist compressors at startup and prolonged life of compressors, had a member sign agreement for pool/clean blower wheel and housing to remove biological growth scheduled appointment for next Friday for cleaning member prepaid.
