Performed annual maintenance on two 2019 Lennox split systems. Changed out two 20 x 25 filters located in the garage at both upflows. Followed the sequence of operations and checked refrigerant levels, compressor amperage, fan motor amperage, and capacitors. Both capacitors are testing below their rated specifications. Recommended replacing both capacitors with new ones and will send an estimate via email. Cleared both condensation drain lines and verified they are draining properly. Checked inrush/startup amperage on both systems; both were reading over specifications. Washed down both condenser coils. Checked both Honeywell 6000 thermostats for proper cooling operation and verified they are reaching the set points. Both systems are operating properly at this time and cooling as they should.

Maintenance for cooling on a 2018 micro channel air temp 4 ton split system. Customer supply filter one for living room and one for master bedroom. Condensation line is cleared filters changed. AC pro thermostat working properly. Performed maintenance on mini split. Check system sequence of operation. Checked compressor amps, checked fan motor amps, checked capacitor, check disconnect box, checked Freon and temperature split. Washed outdoor unit down. Upon maintenance notice outdoor unit has compressor saver kit checked in rush. In rush above manufacture spec. Compressor saver kit no longer good. Notified client and recommend replacing. Client agreed and signed estimate. Replaced compressor saver kit checked in rush showed client the results. System is working at time of maintenance. Home is cooling properly.

Ductless unit for guest bedroom is nonop. Found burnt wires and terminal block. Due to age and condition of equipment with OEM parts being obsolete, recommended replacement. Provided quote sent via email. Client to try to find and order terminal block for ductless unit. Due to wires being burnt at terminal block, ductless unit may have other potential issues.

Performed annual maintenance on a 2021 5-ton American Standard split system. Changed out the 24 x 24 air filter located in the garage. Cleared the condensation drain line and verified it is draining properly. Checked the 1050 thermostat for proper operation and confirmed it is calling for cooling with no active system alerts. Followed the sequence of operations and checked refrigerant levels, compressor amperage, and fan motor amperage. Verified the outdoor unit has no active alerts. Checked system operation and confirmed the unit is operating properly and cooling as expected. System is operating properly at this time and is cooling down the home.

Arrived at customer’s home to diagnose lights we installed that are flickering. Upon arrival I found that two of the four can lights in kitchen would flicker and turn off randomly. Pulled fixtures down to find a bad connection in one of the lights that caused lights to flicker and turn off. Fixed connection to ensure proper continuity and restored power to lights to ensure proper operation.

Maintenance for cooling on a TRANE 5 ton upflow heat pump. FAU in garage 20 x 25 filter located at FAU. Filter was severely dirty Had a hard time getting it out spoke with client about the importance of changing the filter regularly. Due to dirty filter airflow was severely restricted. Client would complain home would not cool properly. Condensation line cleared filter changed. Zoning for home one thermostat for bedrooms and one thermostat for the living room. Two Honeywell thermostat is working properly. Check system sequence of operation. Checked compressor amps, checked fan motor amps, checked capacitor, checked disconnect box, checked Freon and pressure. Washed Outdoor unit down it was very dirty. Upon maintenance notice due and capacitor tested weak. Notified client of findings and recommend replace. Client agreed and signed estimate. Replaced dual run capacitor and test system operation. System is working per manufacture spec. Home is cooling properly. Client signed up for biannu

Upon arrival found Lennox communicating thermostat displaying error message that it lost communication with FAU. Secured all wiring and assured water safety switch was not activated. Rebooted equipment and everything kicked backed on. Client requested a maintenance be done at property. Replaced customer supplied media filter. Followed sequence of operations and checked voltage, condenser fan motor amps, compressor run amps, temperature split, Freon levels, and rinsed condenser coils. Cleared condensation line from fau. Secured all electrical connections. Lennox thermostat is working properly. System is cooling at this time of service. Set thermostat to 84° and closed garage door. Charged CC on file.

Arrived for a panel tune up with ultra surge protector. Removed cover and painted cover. Replaced each breaker individually and ensured the wires were properly secured to breakers. Installed surge protector to bottom of panel and connected to breaker. Returned cover back on panel and labeled accordingly.

Found primary condensation drain for garage upflow furnace and coil backed up. Drain terminates in side yard on other side of garage wall. Recommended having drain line cleared thoroughly and add a water safety switch to prevent this from ever overflowing in garage again. Homeowner did not want water safety switch and just to have drain line cleared. Cleared it from termination point until dry then cleared from vent in garage with multiple passes. Drain line had some pushback at first. Now it’s cleared out and draining out properly. Informed homeowner issue could return as older drain lines can accumulate debris and gunk no so having either a water safety switch installed or also recommended signing up on Hyde’s Family Comfort Club so we can clear it 2x a year and get discounts on trip charges/repairs including adding a water safety switch.

Arrived at customer’s home to replace burnt out landscape fixture and to install a decora blank in place of an existing switch. Removed old landscape fixture and installed a new identical fixture in its place. Removed switch from wall and replaced it with a new decora blank. Tested landscape fixture and replaced switch plate for switch to complete scope of work for today.

Arrived at customers address found two trip GFI‘s and reset made the things come back on except for the stair lights after taking an apart a couple of stair lights realize there’s no power going into them. No low voltage no high voltage on either end. Would need more diagnostic time and also digging. Would recommend Fred or Eli who have been to Landscaping in school to come out here and give her a free estimate. Also want a consult with HVAC technician to make sure that we do work on her unit. It is a Lennox platinum type system with zoning. Multiple thermostats and homeowner has been told that other people do not work on them at times. Gave her the Hyde’s family pack brochure explained to her about surge protection and what a panel tuneup is.

Arrived for an after-hours no-cooling concern following a circuit board replacement performed earlier in the day. Thermostat was indicating that the indoor unit was offline. Upon inspection, found the condensate system did not have a Jones valve or condensate safety switch installed. Condensate water had leaked into the electrical compartment and was present around the low-voltage wiring, causing the control circuit to short and resulting in improper system operation. Prior to performing any recommended repairs, informed the member/caregiver present of the findings and explained what repairs would be required in order to restore proper system operation. Confirmation was received to proceed with the recommended work. Cleared and corrected the condensate drainage issue, then installed a Jones valve and condensate safety switch to provide proper service access and protection against future condensate overflow. Allowed the affected low-voltage wiring to dry thoroughly and cleaned/dried the

I Performed Maintenance on both the Cooling System. Also replaced 2) 20x25 filters. Both the Cooling Systems are 2017 models located on the ground. I also flushed both the condensate drains. I found that both the dual run capacitors tested weak and out of manufactures specifications. I recommended and installed new dual run capacitors and tested. I then found that the start kit for the living room unit (S#N2F) tested no good. Installed new start kit and tested. Both Cooling Systems checked out operational at the time of the service. Scheduled next maintenance visit online.

Arrived for a complimentary electrical safety inspection. During inspection of exterior outlets I noticed they did not have bubble covers. Bubble covers (also called "in-use" covers) protect exterior outlets by creating a deep, weatherproof dome that keeps rain, snow, and debris out of the receptacle even when an electrical cord is actively plugged in. During inspection of the interior I found two smoke detectors that needed to be replaced. Additionally during inspection of the interior outlets I found they some were backstabbed and not up to code. Having backstabbed outlets is dangerous because the internal spring clips can lose tension over time, leading to loose wires, arcing, overheating, and potential electrical fires.A backstabbed connection relies on a tiny metal pinch point rather than the wide surface area and secure clamping force of a standard screw terminal. After Diagnostic found faulty relay installed new really panel under warranty unit is up and cooling this unit serves master bedroom

Demand call upon arrival client stated thermostat not working properly. Client stated they were away from home and had living room thermostat set to 88° before they left. System would come on and cool living room at 76°. Upon further investigation, thermostat was set on scheduling. Put thermostat back to hold and spoke with client on how to properly use the thermostat. Recommended client replace both living room and bedroom thermostats to a smart thermostat to properly keep track when to turn on and off the system and set it to the proper temperature. Sent estimate. Advised client to sign up for biannual meeting.
